The last 24 hours and CivCraft's future funding
With less than a day left, we're less than 1.5K short of our third stretch goal. In the meantime, we want to thank all of you for backing CivCraft. We're preparing a big reward for when we'll reach the 35K goal and we're already working on new graphics and features.
Here's some of the new additions to CivCraft's interiors
By the request of our backers, we also wanted to inform you about our terrain.
Last year, our terrain was an infinite generic terrain. The advantage was that no area was the same as the other. This worked well for a while until we realized that when having too much, you loose the depth of your environment. Some of the terrain was repeating, while other parts didn't look interesting at all.
In the later versions of CivCraft, we imported a real terrain from Nepal's mountain landscapes and shaped it into a fantasy world. The enlarged mountains plus the dungeons and secret canyons were more immerse than any generic terrain, especially when our team went over each section and added more details and places of interest. Currently, each section of Ellaria is a hand made terrain, and more sections will be unlocked during the Early Access.
Another request by our community was to open a PayPal account after our Kickstarter Campaign.
This request was made by gamers who want to back CivCraft but can't use a Kickstarter account. Because of that, we'll open a purchase section on our site for two weeks after our Campaign. After these two weeks, the prices and tiers will be changed so that they'll be fair to our Kickstarter backers.
That's it for today, and we're nearly at the finish line. We thank you for your support, and we're confident that together we'll reach the 35K stretch goal!
