About this project

With just one week left (that’s only 7 days, or 168 hours, or 604,800 seconds), IT’S CRUNCH TIME for our fundraising campaign!!!

We need $6,757.38 more to make our goal. If we don’t reach it by 7:52pm EDT next Wednesday, The Troubadoors won’t get the chance to spread their music to you.

What have we all been up to the past few weeks? Well, this past weekend marked the first shoot days for the series.

We’ve always known that – based on our hard work, dedication, and the incredible talent lined up to be in the series – The Troubadoors had immense potential.

Two long, demanding days on set with The Troubadoors not only confirmed this belief, but also augmented it tenfold as the cast and crew were amazed by one another’s talent, commitment, ingenuity, and love for what we all do.

It is a rare thing on set for everyone – absolutely everyone – to click so well and work together towards a common goal on set without a moment of negativity or discouragement. The fact that that’s exactly what we had this weekend is a positive sign for the future of the show.

We all can’t wait for the next shoot almost as much as we can’t wait to show you what we’re so excited about.

Following the shoot, on Sunday evening we had a fundraising event that featured the musical stylings of many of the members of The Troubadoors.

Some of them, like Kaugara 4221973, appeared in character. Others, like Jonathan Brooks, who plays Felix Brown, have their own bands (his is called The Hug!) and other projects or did mind-blowing covers of their favorite music. It was a great event and so great to see many of you there showing support in person.

All of this activity is a result of so many people’s support and belief in us. For that, we cannot thank you enough.

Again, we’ve got one week to make The Troubadoors a reality.

Your support means more than we can say. We can’t wait to share The Troubadoors with you.

Sincerely,

Haley and Brina

If the TV shows Community and Flight of the Conchords got together and had a web series baby, it would be The Troubadoors. It’s a musical comedy about a ragtag group of college students who go caroling door to door for a new holiday every week. With the top choir of their university, The Harmonics, maintaining a stronghold on every performance venue in the city, The Troubadoors must fight for their right to perform. Everything from Labor Day to Cliché Day to Deaf Awareness Week will be awkwardly but skillfully celebrated through song.

After graduation, her professional career commenced as a talent agent for The Mary Collins Agency, the top talent agency in the southern region of the United States. Her most recent work can be seen in Legends of The Game where she acted as Producer and Assistant Director. Haley is the director and part of the writing team for The Troubadoors. As co-creator of the show, she looks forward to sharing these hilarious characters, songs, and stories with fans.
