looking Back at all the undelivered kickstarter Ive contributed to, and this one still hits me like a brick.
I recall he stated he was waiting on some animations for this doc, but that was years ago. Theres been already 3 great NG docs online, .. They may not have any interviews or original animation, but hey, they do the Job of representing NG well. I guess Ill have to settle with being happy with that... Then again I could already use that hundred bucks.

You can always click "report this project to Kickstarter," Alexandre.

    3. KL on March 7

Yup, almost two years since the last update. We at least deserve an explanation.

    4. Alexandre Jose Andrade on January 25

Antone realize this guy ran away with our money? I don't know about most of you, but I saw some highly funding backers on this project... shouldn't we fight for some accountability here?

    5. fourchinnigan on November 26, 2016

      Status report? Indefinitely shelved? Scrapped?

    6. Eric on August 6, 2016

You know, looking back, this was the very first Kickstarter project I ever backed. We're a month shy of the 6 year mark at this point, so obviously I'm not holding my breath. But it would be truly delightful if it did show up on my doorstep some fine day.

    7. MP Ritvola on July 25, 2016

Would probably prefer the footage made and shot for this to just get released in unfinished form to see some of the interviews atleast.

    8. Alexandre Jose Andrade on March 17, 2016

More updates... I want to see this end product man

Hey Nathan (: How's the movie coming along?

    10. fourchinnigan on September 19, 2014

Four year mark. What's the word on this?

    11. Michelle "Kenobi" Osorio on January 14, 2013

Glad you are still chipping away at this. Can't wait to see it.

      Hi Nathan,

Per your update, some thoughts on "cuts". Two hours does seem like a reasonable limit for a documentary (or really any feature length movie), unless you are Ken Burns. Beyond that you get the "it was good, but it could have been about x minutes shorter". I guess beyond that I wonder if you may have gone overboard in terms of the content you captured. I was under the impression that this project primarily focused on Newgrounds, with some supporting/related material, but the project sounds a bit tangential now. Maybe you have enough footage/topics for two movies, or one movie and some sort of featurette. I don't know, it's your creative vision, but going on two years (an eternity in internet time) I would think it might make sense to get a movie out the door sooner rather than later while things are as relevant as possible. You can always release footage after the fact and make it a "living" work.

It's been 1 year, 5 months, and 15 days since the project was funded. In the project home section it was indicated that you already had all your footage and that you were entering the editing/production phase. Given that your footage is a year and a half old, will it still be relevant?

Also, 232 backers gave you $15,151 and in the past 12 months you've given us 3 updates. Are the lack of updates indicative of a lack of progress?

Honestly, I would be very had pressed to back any of your future projects.

Congratulations on the success of the project, can't wait for the end result. I was wondering when the confirmation emails for the backers was going to come out, the last update was Sep. 5 or so, and I haven't checked my email in quite a while, hope I didn't miss anything.

Well, I did make a promise, of sorts. Of course, I didn't receive any confirmation of funny bits about snarky reviewers on Newgrounds, so it was a normal gesture. In any case, I can't wait to see the end result of this mayhem.

I know I'm not the one making the film so I probably shouldn't even be saying this, but my only gripe about the trailer is the music, which sometimes competes with the interviews. Again, not my movie, but just something I took note of.

    27. Carlos Moreno on August 15, 2010

      Awesome! $13,308!
If I donate $20, can I STILL get my name in the Credits?

If I gave you a dollar for every time New Grounds showed me something freakin' amazing, I'd owe you a lot more than I could donate. Still, I make this measly offering as a token of my adoration. I'm so excited to see this film!

      From the FAQ:
      "I'm a non-US Amazon account holder and I can't make a pledge, what's up with that?"

If you are a non-US Amazon Mechanical Turk user you may experience a problem trying to pledge. You'll need to create a new Amazon Payments account during check-out. Sorry this is annoying. We've alerted Amazon about this bug.
