How do I identify which power adapter (USA) goes to the airbonsai? Does it say airbonsai on it? I have a lot of plugs and I can't tell which one came with the star base
This is the least professional team I have ever backed on a crowdsourcing platform, and believe me, I have backed at least 50... I was backer #36, but they never delivered on their product as requested, and never processed the due refund. They dont even reply to all the emails and messages you send them I guess they feel they are entitled now, because they took all our money already! For anyone who is looking into buying from this team, think again. Keep your money safe and run. These are crooks, no ethics and no professionalism whatsoever.
For the record : the company replied me within 12 hours wit hdetailled instructions, but via email. That's may be confusing for people reading the comments here : don't expect a reply in the comments, they reply individually via email (probably for the better).

Ok, got it. Understanding no moss included. However, I have tried a thousand times for flowing the lava rock up on the base. Never ever success!!!!!!!!!! It was kept on stuck at the base surface . HOWCOME???????? What can I do now??????

Currently I put a small succulent plant in and it looks gorgeous. Just a bit sad I couldn't put a bonsai in. Recommendations on what to do would be appreciated!
2. It took a couple of tries but got my lava rock to float!!! Only issue I have is that it keeps spinning really fast which makes me a bit dizzy. Anyone able to get it to stop spinning?
3. It also seems I wasn't the only one confused with my order since I also thought my lava set included a moss ball. I think the confusion was caused by think the lava was an upgraded version of the moss ball and that it also included it. Overall still super cool!

i have had two funded Kickstarter campaigns and when I had issues, I provided the promised product. I expect the same from all campaigns. Either send the promised device or refund for its failure in 20 minutes.
Finally received my lava set this weekend in Sydney, Australia (after a bizarre and unnecessary detour my package took to Perth!) and I can get it levitating for about a minute before it spins too fast and crashes down onto the shiny surface scratching it up and throwing the plant out quite violently. My lava pot is very unevenly shaped like an egg, the potting section is also not centred so I have a big chunk of rock on one side and very little on the other. I wouldn't have a clue how to go about sanding this thing down or getting a plant to actually balance in it! Any tips?

I have been complaining a lot about the delays and lack of info in the last months but I wanted to share that I received my air bonsai beginning of January. Turkish customs managed to break the box and unpack it for me (they always show great care...). I am still disappointed by the way I was treated as a customer but in the end I cannot complain about the product.
My advice for the owners is to be closer to the backers that are still waiting for their package or to the ones that had product issues. They might not realize it but it's terrible to spend months and weeks waiting, thinking that you have been scammed and not receiving any answer.
I had a bit of troube trying to balance the lava at first.
The first thing you need to do is to make sure that the magnetic base is positioned on a flat area and perfectly centered. Difficult to measure with a bubble because of the round shape, but I had to adjust mine a bit. After that, if the bonsai spins out of control or won't hold in place, my best advice is to try to feel on which side the magnets are attracting the bonsai the most and then either sand the lava base on that same side or change the incline/position of the bonsai. Adding some very small stones on the soil as counter weight might also help.
In the end one trick that defenitely solved spinning issues for me was to use a very small metal string to connect the magnetic base and the bonsai. No need to fix it or glue it, the magnets will keep it in place. This made it perfect and now the bonsai holds in place for days.
Once I will have more time and patience I will focus on really finding that perferct balance.
These scammers are hard work, I have cancelled the payment to them, at which point they immediately tried to apply for the cash again, still without a single word from them as to when I could expect to ever receive my order.
Amateurs playing at being in business, extremely poor communications [in fact zero communication, even when I had cancelled the order, even when I had cancelled the payment, the same old story - no communication.
Thankfully I do have free legal advice, and mine to everyone who is yet to receive their order is to cancel the payment of your credit or debit card and cancel the order by email and on here. Without a confirmation of despatch which you will never receive, they can do nothing but leave you alone. The crucial matter is the last email update, which is when the clock starts to tick, not from the day of your order. Make sure your card issuer is aware of the dates of their contact with you.
This weekend, I was able to plant my pine in the kokedama. Looks beautiful! Hopefully I did it correctly... the pine's root ball was sort of large, so hopefully I packed enough soil in the kokedama for it to survive! I guess time will tell....

Hello. I received my Little Star only to find the lava unit completely broken when I opened the box. Attempts to reach the company have gone unanswered. Any suggestions?
I've received my Little Star today. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the packaging was. Alas it was disappointment after that. My lava stone is very misshapen, flat bottomed and chipped where the hole is. I understand each one is unique but had an expectation they would be as rounded as possible. (maybe, once a plant is in it, it won't look so bad). It took some doing but I did get it to balance, not before a lot of failed attempts that have scratched the silver top of the base unit. I'd suspect this would happen to a lot of people. Could placing a thin cloth over the base help prevent scratches while placing the lava? Either way, seems like a design floor for something to get so easily damaged. Finally, and this might be because I didn't read the small print. But it only works for 5 hours max at a time. Meaning you have to intentionally go and balance the plant every time you want to see it working (and remember to turn off before leaving). I had hoped I'd just set it up and leave it on.
My lava rock is not a round shape but more like an egg. I can make it float on the base but it just can't last long. An hour long is my best record. Theoretically, if I can trim the lava rock together with plants to make the mass center matching the magnetic center, I think it can float well. BUT, how can I find the mass center? Any one has any good idea?
Tsveta - that did turn out nice. I had a succulent in mine as well before it broke. I'm hoping that once these guys finish with their orders i'll be able to order a new lava rock so I can replant and give it another go.

The plate turned out to be absolutely essential, because of all the moisture seeping through the rock. It's damp all the time. I hope it doesn't deteriorate, because it looks sweet. The dirty edge makes it look even more natural. I did clean it up with a brush a bit after it dried up a little, and intend to do a second pass later.
Update #2: There is a strange smell released by the energy base when it's been plugged in for more than 30 minutes. Not exactly the smell of burning, but pretty close.
The silver surface has never gotten hot to a degree than I cannot touch it.
Update: over 5 hours of attempts (different sittings) and still no success in getting the lava rock to hold in place.
I can confirm that the power supply is working, the silver surface is heating up. But there's certainly something wrong with the energy base or lava rock. I have watched every youtube video there is and I am certain that I am doing everything right. It just won't lock in place.
Something to note though: when it's been unplugged for a few hours, I seem to have some tiny success in my first 2 or 3 tries as I can move my fingers away for half a second before it comes crashing down. After that, I never get to the stage where i can take away all my fingers which are holding the lava rock in place.
