Dear Friends,

We're so excited to share that we've finished filming all of the scenes for "A Star In The Desert" and we're currently moving into post-production with editing, sound and animation.

Thank you again for joining us on this journey. We simply could not have made it this far without your support, and we are so grateful that each and every one of you believes in this film and mission. We've updated our film website: www.astarinthedesert.com with the latest photos from filming and behind the scenes. Check it out!

We're so excited to share this film with the world, as our goal is threefold:

1. To create a platform about the tragedy of war and the global refugee crisis -- absent of politics.

2.  To highlight the effects of mental illness; disconnection and dissociation of self which are prominent themes in culture today.

3.  To share an under-represented perspective from the Middle-East, from families who are on the receiving end of war & conflict, and expand perspectives and global consciousness.

If you know anyone else that would like to join us on this journey, please share our site. I've included a Behind the Scenes Unofficial 2 min teaser on youtube that Executive Producer Oaday put together, with my voice narrating a poem I wrote about the film, and a friend singing in the background. Stay tuned for the early access release, which we will send to you as soon as we can.

 All the best.
