Einstein on the Beach CD/DVD sets: Back by Popular Demand!

Posted by John Walter (Creator)

Hello Earth Movers!

We are happy to announce that we just added 400 additional copies of the $60 CD/DVD set to the campaign. The set includes a CD of Einstein on the Beach's music and a DVD of "The Changing Image of Opera."

We are thrilled at the abundance of support for this campaign that you have all shown and we need that support again now more than ever because we are getting down to the wire––only 9 days left!

Please help us to spread the word by sharing this page with your friends and family and posting about the campaign on social media (tag us @earthmovesfilm on Twitter and Instagram!).

I received the DVD/CD and I have to say, although I do not regret supporting this important project, I feel I was sold a bill of goods. I agree with David's comments below. I thought that I was getting a DVD of the actual opera - not a CD of "highlights" and a DVD of something that is readily available on youtube.

There was no picture of what was included at the time I pledged, just this description"

Receive a physical copy of the CD/DVD package of the live performance and opera of Einstein on the Beach."

Honestly, I feel an apology/explanation is in order, but I still can't wait to see the finished documentary.

Any way to get both TEE and CD/DVD? I would be glad to upgrade my contribution if I can get both.

DARN! I thought the DVD was a DVD of the actual "Einstein on the Beach" opera and I was very excited for the $60 pledge and was telling others about it.

Good luck with the project, but my guess is a lot of other people probably thought they were getting a DVD of the opera because of the way the reward was described. I'll still back the project, just not for as high a reward.
