WHAT MAKES Carboneer UNIQUE?
Carboneer is CNC machined from ultra-light, ultra-strong carbon fiber. It has unique cutouts that provide comfortable finger grips. There are multiple holes for keychain attachment.
WHY CARBON FIBER?Carbon Fiber is a high tech material that normally only finds practical uses in industries like Aerospace, Performance Cars, and Extreme Sports, but usually only enters our daily lives in cosmetic, and often fake, applications. With Carboneer, the carbon fiber is being used first for its strength and high tech properties, and second for it’s natural good looks.
A keychain hook doesn’t have to be made of heavy metal. Carbon fiber's superior strength to weight ratio allows us to design a key chain hook that weighs less than a single key, but is stronger than aluminum, titanium or steel.
NO SLIP GRIPS
Skeletonized cutouts not only look awesome, they also reduce weight, and create a grippy surface for your fingers to hold onto, making it easy to grab, hook and unhook. The inner concave curve keeps the Carboneer securely hooked.
ORGANIZE YOUR KEYS
Three holes at the bottom provide 3 different places to attach keys or keychains. This reduces the bundled mass of keys into a lower profile, and organizes your keys for easy identification.
Carboneer can also be used in Stealth Mode as a pocket clip. Keep your keys in your pocket, and clip Carboneer onto the edge of your pocket like you would a knife or pen. Your keys are now ready to pull out of your pocket at a moments notice. No more digging around in your pocket to find your keys among your other EDC gear.
The Carboneer is CNC machined from carbon fiber plate, and the edges are chamfered to make them smooth.

INITIAL GOAL - $1000
Our goal of $1000 will fund the first production run of the Carboneer. This will include tooling costs and minimum production order. We have already created a relationship with the manufacture, and all the carbon parts you see pictured here are pre-production samples that we have received from them. They are ready to start manufacturing.
DOES CARBONEER OPEN BEER BOTTLES TOO?
No. You probably already have your favorite bottle opener on your keychain, and we’re not trying to replace that. Minimalism is key.

Risks and challenges
BASTION is well established in the EDC (Every Day Carry) community, and has a large number of loyal customers. We sell direct online at our web-store and through many retailers nationwide.
We have a dedicated fulfillment warehouse on the west coast that provides quick and efficient packaging and shipping to our customers. We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) as our primary delivery source. We cannot control for mail delivery schedules managed by USPS, which could be impacted by weather, transportation, or local facility issues.
Delays in production and distribution from our manufacturing source are the most likely issues that we could encounter.
