Thanks so much for your interest in Bossladies Magazine.
Hopefully, with your help, we'll be able to print our first issue and begin developing content for Issue 02!
I'll quickly introduce myself, so you know who you're relying on to make this project come to life...
Hi there! I'm Chelsea.
About a year ago, I left my corporate job to delve further into editing, writing, and event planning. It's been the most inspiring, wonderful year.
I finished writing my first book, edited novels for three other authors, produced creative workshops, coordinated weddings, began refurbishing a VW bus from Brazil, and launched the bossladies project—of which I’m tremendously proud.
I felt as though I’d been switched on. I was engaged, curious, and inspired in a way I’d never been before, and I dove into every opportunity with reckless enthusiasm.
I was addicted to this new lifestyle, and I knew I could never go back. I began seeking out other women who were shaping their realities in similar ways. Slowly I discovered a community of women who were building their own businesses, pursuing their own ventures, and making their own rules. I had stumbled into the world of the bossladies.
Several Featured Bossladies
These women are fiercely intelligent and full of life. They’re willing to take big risks and work long hours to make their dreams come true. I wanted to share their stories—both the successes and the inevitable struggles they encountered as they built their businesses.
This issue of bossladies magazine is a celebration of the talented women in our home city of Los Angeles. For any woman out there who wants to launch her own venture (or who is hustling hard to make her business sustainable), I hope this collection of stories encourages you to get out there and be a bosslady!
With immense gratitude,
The ladies who helped bring Bossladies Magazine to life...
This magazine would not have been possible without the hard work, extreme talent, and friendship of these women. If you'd like to see more of their work, click their photos on bossladies.us and you'll be directed to their portfolios.
