Emergencies happen. Rally is here to help. Whether you’re walking home late at night, out at a party, facing a medical emergency or worse, Rally’s got your back. To activate, simply tap the Rally Button 3x to immediately summon help.
The Button is discrete and easy to activate without anyone knowing that you’re activating it. Once activated, your GPS location and a real-time map are sent to Rally Responders through the Rally app.
Rally is highly customizable, and you determine who you want as your Rally Responders.
Rally is designed to be preventative and proactive. You decide who is notified when you press the Rally Button. You can even change your settings to meet your schedule. Rally is flexible enough to meet your needs and keep you safe.
Additionally, Rally’s services are FREE. However, there is an extra monthly subscription cost of 15 dollars to activate the emergency services.
Wondering why Rally isn’t designed to exclusively call 911? There are three key reasons.
We want to encourage people to think proactively and ask for help before a situation escalates to a true emergency. Think of Rally Allies as the 'Community Watch' for the 21st century. In the past, neighbors would volunteer to be a first response team. They’d be on the lookout for each other and be the first line of “defense” for the neighborhood when something happened. Rally Allies are the same, except they are more vetted and trained than their neighborhood predecessors.
We are big fans of first responders. But we also know they have a lot on their plate. According to the Department of Justice, 41% of aggravated assault cases take an hour or in some cases, even a day to respond to. That’s a long time when you’re in need. It’s why we offer BOTH 911 call + family, friends, and community Allies as Responder options. We want to make sure you’re safe and sound.
Did you know that 90% of sexual assaults are done by someone known to the victim? It’s why most people don’t end up reporting the crime to the police. Whether you choose to report it to police or not, we want to make sure you have a helpful first call. Rally Allies are given continuous training in responding to emergency situations. They’ll help you call the police if you decide to, or they’ll connect you with support services listed in the app, as needed. Regardless of what you choose, Rally’s there for you.
The average age someone gets a smartphone is 10 years old. Rally is perfect for young kids spreading their wings for the first time.
Whether it's your daughter walking home with her girlfriends after school...
Or your adventurous young explorer that needs to get out, get dirty, and push the limits. Rally will be there to help keep them safe no matter what childhood throws at them.
One of the most anxious moments of any parents life is when they hand over the keys to their newly licensed teen. Ease that anxiety by handing them a Rally button with those keys and have the check-in feature at your fingertips.
Rally gives our greatest generation the freedom and safety they deserve without having antiquated uncomfortable monitoring devices hanging around their neck.
The Rally Button is discrete and only 1-inch in size. It can be attached to your phone, clothes or any accessory. We designed it as a Button so that it would automatically go with you wherever you go.
Unlike various forms of safety jewelry, it won’t clash with an outfit or accidentally be left behind. Plus, it’s so small that no one will notice you pressing the Button. The rapid sequence to activate makes false alarms negligible, all while making It easy to use.
Rally has amazing safety features that will help keep you safe but there is plenty more to this little button. When attached to a phone case it also acts as a ring grip for easy handling and stand.
Rally is designed to be flexible and adaptable to your safety needs. You control who alerts are sent to.
Turn off the community feature and only have alerts sent to your family and friends or set up the Emergency subscription service, and 911 is called when you tap your Rally Button.
Set-Up Activation Settings
Designate one or more of your emergency contacts to have the ability to check in and see if you're okay. Set it up to check in with you (or let your contacts). If you don't enter your code, Responders are alerted.
Or you can do the same thing for your self, by setting the app to prompt you at a certain time. If you don't enter your code, Responders are alerted.
Rally’s community of Allies makes it different from other safety wearables. Users have the option to connect with family and friends, call 911 or connect with dedicated community Allies.
Rally is designed to create a community of Allies who want to join us in creating a safer world for everyone to live in. It’s pre-screened, judgment-free help when you need it. Stopping sexual assault is a community responsibility, not just a “women’s issue.” We provide a way to engage and educate through our app.
Once you activate your Rally device, multiple, identity-verified Allies come at one time to ensure safety in numbers. The Rally app alerts you as soon as someone is on their way.
Once you're safe, enter their codes into the application. That way, Rally knows you’re okay. Plus, your own emergency contacts (i.e., friends and family) will be alerted that you’re safe as well.
Keeping you safe is our priority. We double-identity verify every Ally as they sign-up. We also run sex-offender background checks to make sure they're safe. Plus, we always send Allies in groups of 2+ to ensure safety in numbers.
Once you receive help, you will be prompted to enter their passcode into your phone. This confirms that you've had a safe-interaction. We'll notify Emergency Contacts if we don't receive that safe confirmation.
Allies are given continuous education on how to respond to assault survivors and how to engage in #TimesUp conversations with others on a grassroots level. We want to be part of changing the culture. We even offer incentives and rewards at local businesses for completing various education modules.
With pre-set check-ins and a range of flexible features, Rally is working to prevent sexual assault before it can happen.
Sarah goes on a run.
She knows she can never be too careful running alone around a big city, so she sets up a Rally self-check-in alert before she goes out. At the time she pre-selected, the alert pops up on her phone. If she's okay, Sarah enters her four-digit code. If she’s not okay, it will notify Allies or emergency contacts (depending on her settings) who will be sent to help her. She can use it if someone is creeping her out and she needs help or if she's in physical danger.
Callie needs help getting home safe.
Callie is about to walk home from the library and realizes how late it is. She activates her Rally device. She’s not in immediate danger, so when the alert pops up on her phone allowing her to add a message, she adds a note about where she is and what she needs. Two Allies come to walk her home. She's safe and worry-free.
Katie goes on a Tinder date.
Katie's already set her mom up as an emergency contact. Katie tells her mom to check in during the date. If Katie doesn't reply to the check-in prompt through the Rally app, her mom is notified and Allies are immediately sent to her. This dispatches two parties to assist her if she needs it. Katie's mom can even add an additional message to the Allies checking on her to explain the situation. Hopefully, she just forgot to check her phone, but they’re there in case she needs help.
At Rally, we’re on a mission to prevent future #MeToo stories. We believe that any assault, no matter the circumstance, is too much assault. That’s why we’ve created discreet, wearable technology that connects you to help when you need it.
Over 25 years of combined military and executive protection experience is the driving force behind Rally. We know Rally will keep people safe because keeping people safe is what we do for a living. Meet the team:
Mike Murphy, President & CEO
Mike has spent the last 12 years keeping people safe around the globe. As a former Army Ranger, he planned and led teams in key missions during four deployments to Afghanistan. After leaving the Army, he became an Executive Protection Agent for at-risk and celebrity families. He founded Rally as a practical response to preventing more #MeToo stories and out of a desire to give more people access to the tools to keep themselves safe.
Maria Cody, Executive Consultant to the Board
Maria has over 27 years experience in the systems integration and construction business, of which thirteen were for the Federal Government. She has played an integral role in providing solutions for the hospitality, corporate, education, healthcare and government markets.
Chris Espe, Vice President of Global Outreach
Chris, like Mike, was a proud member of 1st Ranger Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment. Chris went on four deployments as a Ranger to Iraq and Afghanistan before being honorably discharged to pursue his Masters in Organizational Leadership from the University of Minnesota. Chris is an enterprise business development and sales executive serving large, multinational clients as well as an Army National Guard Captain.
At Rally, we believe that safety is a right, not a privilege. We've designed Rally to be, in part, a response to the #MeToo movement: to help prevent more #MeToo stories and to give people a way to make tangible action in their communities.
A real response to #MeToo means giving all women access, regardless of ability to pay. When you choose our gift a button reward, you put the power of Rally in the hands of someone who needs it. Every time the Gift a Button reward hits 30 dollars we will give a full button package away.
Risks and challenges
Our biggest responsibility will be to make sure our app works as designed 100 percent of the time. Constant maintenance and review will be done to always ensure users the safety features they expect. Another challenge will be in our manufacturing and distribution channels. We have a great manufacturing partner now but demand can always throw a wrench in the best-made plans. We have mitigated that risk by teaming up with a highly respected manufacturer who is well known for their quality of products and their turn around time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
