Dear Backers,

We are delighted that wheels have now arrived in over 30 countries and finally to the last state Hawaii - Aloha. 

The reception from everyone has been outstanding!

We are really enjoying some of the great use cases that many of you are sharing with us and hope you will continue to share your feedback and pictures in the comments and social media. With all our new customers joining us from other sources we will be in the future providing more information in our monthly newsletter and on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.       You didn't mention about your customers in Japan at all in April update. When will you start shipping wheels to customers in Japan? Here's what you wrote to me in 1st/March/2017.
      "I have just had some new news and it is not encouraging apparently Japan has now put in place a ban on importing any liIon batteries like the ones we use. So have immediately put all wheel shipment to Japan on hold.

      We can ship the wheels without batteries but it will take time to source a local supplier of suitable 36v liIon batteries.

      sorry that this is not better news and over the next couple of weeks we are going to assess what is the best way to manage our many customers in Japan.

      I tried to order a spare battery but it is still charging me $47 for shipping to Washington State
