Dear Backers,

First, for everyone that has already received your wheels we really want your feedback and any video's or pictures you can share would be fantastic!

For everyone who is still waiting, thank you so much for your patience and understanding - we are working hard to get you your wheels as soon as possible.

Since we started shipping to backers in December, we have shipped out most of the 700C Silver wheels ordered by our US backers. Having shipped a few hundred wheels at this point we have ironed-out most of the kinks with domestic shipping and have a very smooth process set up between our manufacturing facility and UPS making the way for lots of future bulk shipments.

Our plan for January 2017 is to manufacture and ship to about 50% of our backers and by February we plan to have fulfilled ALL the US and most international orders. Some of the international shipments may provide new challenges and we will continue to accelerate through them and provide updates on our progress.

For those of you local enough to collect your wheels we are trying to find a good location and weather window in February for our first GoRolling event.

Have you seen Dakota sharing more insights in the Advanced Installation video yet?

We are excited about another announcement we plan to make in the next two months but for now its 'hush hush' so stay tuned and we will keep you informed.

We wish all of you a wonderful New Year, your support in 2016 still makes us feel humble. 2017 is going to be a huge year with new even bigger opportunities. We will share these exciting opportunities with you, our loyal backers first.

Cheers - Team GeoOrbital.

I would echo Bernard Schwach's comment, but add that my initial enthusiasm that I shared with FB friends can't be sustained, which doesn't look good for KS nor geo.

Hi, Good New Year to All.
Whilst i am very happy to see your success and read about all the deliveries going out, I am still waiting, here in Tokyo, for my wheels. They were originally promised in November, i believe, but are now getting later and later.
I have an enormous market here and as my circumstances have changed I would like to market them more vigorously.
Can you send me your trader details .................. and my wheels would be great. Also leaflets, cards and any promo materials that you have. I will do the Japanese translations.
Over a million cyclists in the Tokyo area and they are already used to power assist bicycles.

I definitely heard the term "disc brake adapter".
Nothing on the site, and just the briefest mention in the Campaign.
I'm looking at buying a new fork to get the GO to work...but I'd obviously prefer not to. Tell us what you guys are thinking?

Any chance Vancouver/Canada is next on the list? :D

Received my wheel but still waiting for my Mini Penny to put it on.. Been fighting the urge to buy a bike to put it on, just to try it out.

Bernard and all of our International Backers. We do understand your frustration, appreciate the feedback, and want you to know we are working day and night to ship our wheels as early as possible. We always try to ship as best we can, allowing for manufacturing model variances, in the order that we received pledges. Since almost all of our first few hundred orders were US Domestic orders, our strategy was we wanted to ship ground shipments first to reconfirm our packaging, gain customer feedback, and fix unknown issues that were discovered with initial production. Combined with the 2017 ever changing US HazMat rules on High Capacity Li-Ion batteries we needed to start with ground shipments before progressing to air ones. Our US backers did indeed pay less for their shipping and we are happy that our actual shipping costs are almost exactly what we charged. Yes our International customers did pay more for shipping, but that is due to geography and the new 2017 extremely costly haz mat premiums that all International shippers are charging to ship high capacity Lith-Ion batteries. Shipping expenses is a moving target and we already know we will be subsidizing International shipping in most cases!
Our policy is to be very open with our shipping schedule and we hope this gives everyone a better view on our strategy.

Being a international backer myself I'm not happy about the decision to put us last. We've paid way more because of shipping and now we get treated as second class customers. Second: you could have figured out shipping and handling months ago. It’s like you came to the conclusion that you had to ship the wheels at the last possible moment. I’m, really disappointed.
