Risks and challenges
In our first successful crowdfunding campaign we hand-programmed 172 exclusive Illusion Knit garments for our first 200 customers. 88% of customers was happy to very with the result. In collaboration with the 12% that was not quite happy, we identified hick-ups in our processes and we were able to offer them a second garment. In the end, 3% remained unsatisfied. We gave them a refund.
The experience from our first production round we have now backed up with big data and used it to built our new Digital Tailoring system. The first tests indicate it works beautifully. But to be extra safe, the pre-orders we get out this Kickstarter Campaign, will all be hand-checked by our team.
In the rare event that your garment does not fit properly, we will make a second garment based on your input. And in the rare event that you would be totally unsatisfied, due to factors that we should account for, we offer a refund.
We are transforming the knitwear production chains from bulk to on demand. We currently work with a partner in Spain, a family business that has build a reputation in working with famous high end fashion brands. Now that we are preparing to scale up, we have started to reach out to other producers in Europe. This is the first step towards building a global network of local 3D knitting machines, that should all be capable of knitting our Knitcode to beautiful result.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
