Suicide 5 is 100 page horror graphic novel for a MATURE AUDIENCE only.
"...there is a genuine strength to its message and flawless presentation that marks the work as a miss-it-and-I-will-mess-you-the-hell-up sort of manner."
"...a wonderfully crafted, character-based comic that explores some challenging themes..."
"Glenn has just committed suicide on YouTube and his friends couldn't be prouder.
With Glenn's death, a terrible game begins. Everyone dies, but only one will be famous."
A LITTLE MORE DETAIL PLEASE!
Suicide 5 is about five people willing to die for what they perceive to be immortality.
These five draft Mason, a young sculptor with crippling social anxiety disorder, as a reluctant judge. His mission is to record and rate every participants' performance. Mason watches as his friends die one by one, each more horribly than the last. Accusations of unoriginality, infidelity, and plagiarism make the already surreal competition even more horrifying.
WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Ryan Howe's art. It's amazing!! Ryan really worked hard on capturing what it meant to stuck as a player in the Suicide 5's deadly game. Ryan wanted you not to simply read the book, but in part, experience the dread and fear each character goes through.
AND SPEAKING OF CHARACTER...
"This book could easily be concept over character. Just making it one bloody death after the next and there are already plenty of comics and movies out there if that's your thing. The interest for me, as the writer, is in characters. This is about some VERY lost souls who's damnable sin is counting the wrong person as their friend. Bryce, their self-appointed ringleader, is evil. I've written about monsters of all sorts throughout my career, but I think Bryce takes the cake because you could actually run across him or his type. There ARE people out there like him and they often prefer the sun-warmed sidewalks over the dark alleys. And that's very scary." -- Creator Jason Pell
SEASON'S END CONTINUES!!
Season's End was a gothic-fantasy book that was funded last year and if you were one of the lucky ones that got to read it, you'll know it ended on a very final note. Still, creators Jason Pell and Blake Wheeler couldn't abandon the world of Tenwars altogether.
Blake has committed to painting a short story that will act as a bridge to further Season's End tales. Make sure you check out the REWARDS for your chance to own the original art.
GOALS AND COSTS.
We're not trying to get rich here. We just want to get this book into people's hands that we think will appreciate it. The money (est.$7000.00) will be used for printing and est. $700.00 will be used to ship the book, and make us some very cool t-shirts! The additional amount will be used for the fees from Amazon and KS. Once funded, our goal then becomes to get it out in the public in a very big way. If that means using a larger publisher, then so be it. Our promise to you is this, we WON'T allow this book to be censored.
Please check out the first four pages of the book and see why we're so enthused!
Thanks for checking out our pitch and be sure to look over the rewards.
There are some great little nuggets of goodness for some reasonable prices.
Risks and challenges
RISKS AND CHALLENGES.
The book is NEARLY finished. What's left is coloring the last chapter, some bits of lettering, and for Blake to deliver his incredible paintings. That's why we've given ourselves a couple months just to be certain that Suicide 5 will be a beautifully polished book when it arrives at your home.
