Need your snail-mail/email addresses!

Hello dear backers,

After a whirlwind of planning parties on both coasts and launching the online mag ( I'm finally able to get down to mailing out your rewards!

For those of you that haven't responded yet please send me your mailing addresses. If you'd like to be on our email list to hear about new online/print issues/parties please send that too! (Kickstarter does not display your email addy).

For those that selected the CD/t-shirt/prints there will be a slight delay. Swoon Magazine Update--Release/parties on the way!

Hello dear backers!

By now you might be wondering where your copy of the new Swoon I'm writing to let you know that we decided to push back the release a few more weeks to put on the final touches. We want make it the best it can possibly be. The release is set for the last weekend of March--with our New York release party on Friday March 30th and in LA Friday April 7th--stay tuned for details!

You can expect your issues/rewards by the second week of April. T-shirts/prints may take a little longer but we promise not to disappoint--we're working with two amazing artists, Owleyes and Suzy Poling, to create some beautiful designs.

Thanks for your patience and thanks so much again for your support! We couldn't have done it without you. Seriously.

We're funded! Yesss! Now it's time to plan the Dreams Issue!

Dear Backers,

Thanks to each and every one of you we successfully raised our goal (went over in fact) yesterday! Now we're certain we'll have the funds to cover our basic print costs in time for a March release!

We had to push it back a couple weeks to fine tune the layout and give our web designer enough time to ready our new you can expect your issues/CDs (if you chose that reward) in the mail the second half of March. Some rewards, like t-shirts and prints, may not be ready until April simply because we will be busy with release parties in NY and LA and tackling distribution!

We'll email you via Kickstarter when it's time to deliver your rewards for your mailing addresses etc.

If you're not on our mailing list and want to be, please visit and go to the "contact" tab to submit your email address. You can also find us on facebook at

Now that we're wrapping up the Techno/logy Issue, it's time to begin work on our Fall release, the Dreams Issue. This issue focuses on all things dreamy--utopian dreams, the psychology and philosophy of dreams and nightmares, art, music, and a dash of fashion in the mix. We're collecting interesting dreams and asking artists to illustrate them. So...please send us your most fascinating dreams! We're also accepting proposals from writers and artists beginning now! We also need writers, interviewers, photographers, artists, and illustrators to contribute to our website (about to be relaunched in March with the new issue, which will be more of a magazine itself!).

Please send all submission queries to, and spread the word!

And thank you so much again for your support, with all my heart!

Kelly (and Earl Grey :) )
