The purpose of this Kickstarter is to create a collaborative set of hand-pulled, affordable prints. We will be working in response to the concept of the “Pristine and Corrupt.” Although our styles and approaches to image-making are different, this is a concept we are both eager to investigate, and we are excited to see how our work will inform one another.
Our suite of prints will feature letterpress, lithography, and copper etching, each part of a limited edition. Print fanatics, get excited!
Because of your collective buying power, we will be able to offer you these prints at an extremely affordable price. All pledges that include prints will be receiving actual hand-pulled pairs from the resulting editions. Each pair of prints will consist of a print from each artist. All works will be printed using archival materials.
Keep in mind, these prices are specific to this project only, so enjoy them while they last!
Where the $ goes:
The money raised will fund all materials and studio rent needed to complete our project. Any funds exceeding our goal will help contribute to the artists’ future endeavors in printmaking. We thank you in advance for your support!
*Color and multi-color use, will be up to the individual artist. Sizes are subject to change slightly if need be.

Cary Hulbert received her BFA in printmaking from the Montserrat College of Art in 2007. Nicole Maloof received degrees in both painting and chemistry from Boston University in 2006. Both artists currently print at the Slugfest Printmaking Studios, located in Austin, TX.
Risks and challenges
The only challenges we foresee are time related, as we may potentially need more than the 3 months we are allotting for the completion of our project. However we are hard-working, dedicated printmakers, and we will try our best to complete everything within our timeline!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
