Reinforcement for Cossack

Posted by Wargamer Games Studio LTD (Creator)

Dear backers,

We finally can show you Cossack character pack. It's very unusual character pack. You have probably noticed that story we tell in Anno Domini 1666 is a little bit different than you know from your favourites Sienkiewicz's novels. History of characters from Cossack character pack is definitely different than you know but we just couldn't resist a chance of adding those two characters to Cossack faction. One of them is Polish noble but he is everything what defines free Cossack, the second one want to continue work of his famous father fighting side by side with Cossacks against Poles... Both heroes looks different but many says they look very similar, as similar they could be one man...

Andrzej Kmicic is a troublemaker and an outlaw. Loyal servant to the Radziwiłł traitors. During the Deluge (Swedish invasion) he sided with the invaders, like most other nobles. Wounded by Wołodyjowski in a duel, he swore revenge. During the siege of the Jasna Góra monastery (an important Polish place of worship) he handled the largest, most devastating siege gun himself. He declined the king's amnesty when given the chance. Instead, he chose to flee the country as an outlaw. He travelled through Ukraine and Western Europe, taking work as a mercenary in armies, or simply as hired muscle for local brawls. After the Emperor's death, like many lowlifes, he gravitated towards Vienna, as usual looking for trouble.

Azya - the son of Tugay Bey, a notorious and formidable Tartar leader. As a child he was kidnapped by Poles, but managed to escape. After spending his youth in the Ukrainian steppes, he joined the retinue of an Eastern Polish Borderlands noble, Nowowiejski. His master had him flogged for romancing with his daughter. Azya fled and swore revenge. In a few year's time he returned to his homeland, Crimea, as a proficient fighter and claimed back his patrimony. He brought along several good men and his jasyr (slaves) - old Nowowiejski and his daughter. Azya came to Vienna accompanying the Ottoman envoys.

Heroes need a troopers to lead, so we're adding also Cossack commoner set.

@Mcdevil- they will be mercenaries as well (if Cossack player doesn't use them they can be drafted), however Kmicic can't be included in Defenders of the Crown faction.

His pose is more like: "Jam jest Kmicic!" :D

Not surprised seeing that couple in AD1666. But more like double faction or mercenaries. And expected more Cossaks in Cossaks :)

Aww I liked the repentant version of Kimicic more. A bugger he will see if his saber now is up to his mouth :D
      Azya is one-eyed I guess? :)
