Archenemy mode and new stretch goals
Dear backers,
Anno Domini 1666 was designed as a 2 player game at heart, however it's not the only way to play the game anymore. There is an idea we've been discussing internally for a long time, and your feedback has pushed us over the fence. We heard you, we know you want to play AD1666 with more friends, so here we go: Anno Domini 1666 will feature the Archenemy variant.
You will be able to play one-vs-many. Up to 4 players can play in this variant: one takes the role of, as you may have guessed, the Archenemy, while the other two or three players fight him side-by-side. Each of them controls a couple of characters. They may come from different factions, but it will be up to you to come up with an in-game explanation why on Earth would the Defenders of the Crown ally with the Order of the Broken Cross. The allies share their player deck and have a limited hand size, while the Archenemy has a separate player deck and an increased hand size. He will also use a separate magic deck to trigger special effects.
If we gather $ 115 000 Archenemy mode will be added to the game.

but in the meantime we have two Thughs to unlock

Later today (late evening Polish time) we'll tell you also a few words about Ernst Koning.

Archenemy sounds like fun . i'm still hoping for a 3-4 player game that isn't 1 vs all , but if you don't do that i'd at least like the option to buy extra card decks and different color base rings so i could make up my own rules . i hate having 4 factions and not being able to use them all :)
