We did it!...
Thanks to you! We've reached our goal and beyond!
Your support for the Radio Dreams project means that we can now publish these memoirs and audio files and get this music history out of boxes, closets and storage into the world to be shared with others. We have already been meeting with Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, The Wittliff Museum in San Marcos, Texas and The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee and made decisions on where to place these writings, artifacts, instruments and more. Booking for a "conversation with" spring tour, sponsored by The Buddy Holly Educational Foundation to promote the Radio Dreams audio documentary with producer Bob Harris in the UK is well underway. Speaking and musical engagements and related book promotion appearances are now also being scheduled for the USA for Spring 2018. So thanks again! We have wings now!
The comments and reminiscences and stories have been not only been touching but in some cases hilarious. It's been interesting how many people have shown up telling even stories that Gracey had written in his memoirs about his early band days and even childhood. Fans I met many years ago at shows have sent comments and reminded me of how we met and reminded me of songs I'd forgotten I knew!
So, we will be in touch soon to start fulfilling all things promised. I am looking forward to cooking, painting, writing and singing my heart out for all who've helped!
Please let your friends know that anyone who pre-orders the book and audio documentary by this coming Friday, November 17 will receive their book and audio documentary CDs in February... well in advance of the official release, as special treatment for those who backed the project and helped make these dreams a reality.
Much love and happiness and gratitude!
