Taking the Virtualizer to Gamescom, SIGGRAPH and Silicon Valley has reminded us what is most important in our work with the Virtualizer.

Delivery. We are focused on delivering the Virtualizer. Hundreds of people have tried it. We have had good response to the ease of stepping into the ring, the rigidity and quality of the structure, and the relative speed of learning to move in virtual reality. A huge range of people, from children to giants have been able to use the Virtualizer and walk, run, jump, and crouch in VR.

Jedi Masters of Virtual Reality have been trying the Virtualizer.

Palmer Luckey, Founder of OculusVR, was one of the first to try the Virtualizer at SIGGRAPH. While this was not his first time using the device, he never got the chance to test our third prototype till now.

Joe Ludwig, VR Jedi Master from Valve was able to try it out along with two dozen Jedi at Valve. Valve gave us the opportunity to test their revolutionary HMD prototype and demonstrations while we discussed motion support for VR.

Amir Rubin, CEO of Sixense invited us to bring the Virtualizer to Sixense for testing with the Sixense STEM. The latest STEM demo has been making waves, a lightsaber simulation for future Jedi Knights where you practice with dual lightsabers against a training orb, deflecting blaster shots. Any aspiring Jedi must try it out.

Tristan Dai, CTO of Team Perception now running the Neuron Kickstarter also tested the Virtualizer in a fast break from their booth at SIGGRAPH. “Finally got the break to try this thing out! You need like 2 minutes to get used to it but after that it's just cooooooooool!” he said as he tried the Virtualizer with Tuncay, Lukas and the outstanding padawan volunteers at SIGGRAPH.

If you are in the San Francisco area Thursday you are invited to come try the Virtualizer. Follow the link for more info, we look forward to seeing you.
