With apologies for the belated arrival, everyone by now has received their pledge rewards and a personal email of thanks from Jack. It was Jack who held the whole thing up actually; we're not sure what he wrote in the end but he didn't seem all that happy about it. We had to coax him with donuts.

But with the exception of 6 dvds to post to backers - they'll follow in a few days - we have now made our film, sent out our rewards, and will be screening the film TOMORROW NIGHT, Tuesday 4th February, at the Cube Cinema Bristol. The bar opens at 7pm and screenings will be at 8.30 and 10pm. If you've been reading the updates you know this already and will have booked your tickets. If you haven't - well, it's your own fault.

We'd like to thank everybody one last time for showing their support on a pretty epic adventure which we're very pleased with. Hope you are too!

Thanks again, you are shining diamonds!

Screening!

Hello all

There's going to be a private screening of The Patsy for all backers (and friends) and some special guests. The date is Tuesday 4th February 2014, and the venue will be The Cube, an independent cinema and bar in Bristol. It's a lovely little place for a drink and a chat as well as watching the film. The bar opens at 7pm, we will screen The Patsy at 8.30pm and again at 10pm for latecomers or people who just need to see it again.

We hope you can all make it. We hope to arrange another screening in London before too long but for those who can't wait we can furnish you with a password-protected link on Vimeo.

We'd just like one final time to thank you all for your support. In January we'll get busy with the pledge rewards of postcards and so on, so you can expect a little something in the post.

Best wishes, and Merry Christmas!

This week the soundtrack was completed by the wonderful Brains and Hunch for The Patsy!

The film is now complete, and we just want to say thank you one last time to all our backers. Many of you appear in the end-credits as co-producers; some of you have your names in the film itself in blink-and-you'll-miss-em cameos. Two people even appear as themselves, albeit slightly rounded, and with enormous eyes.

With apologies for tardiness, we'll be sending out backer rewards (posters, postcards, etc) in January and will follow that up with what we hope will be two screenings - one in Bristol, one in London. It's been an enormous effort on everyone's part and as well as the backers we've been helped by the generosity of others with their time - several students chipped in and everyone involved basically worked for a pittance, or nothing at all bar the sheer joy of making Jack Hersey waddle like a duck.

The Patsy doesn't end with the screenings though. We'll be taking it to America and knocking on doors looking for backers for what we'd really like to be a series. What we really hope is that Jack, Patricia and company can go out and live the 40+ adventures we have planned for them.

Very best, and have a great Christmas!

With November nearly upon us I'm pleased to report The Patsy is fully-animated!

Actually it was fully animated a short while ago but we've been making a few tweaks here and there, like Dr Frankenstein throwing a bit of slap on his monster's discoloured face. We've had further studenty contributions from Natasha Watson and Lauren Jones from University of West England and Plymouth College of Art respectively to help us over the line.

But we're now properly into post-production with the amazing Tom Haines applying some lovely sound design and music. We hope to be completed in early November, sending out rewards in mid November and screening in Bristol - maybe London too - before December arrives.

Thanks again for your generosity and belief!
