I bet most of you think you’re wearing clean clothes right now. For 95% of you, your favorite detergent let you down. For almost everyone reading this, your shirt, your pants, and even your underwear are loaded with bad chemicals and carcinogens.
Some of these chemicals included in your everyday wash include 1,4 Dioxane which the National Institute of Health confirmed “to be a human carcinogen, and even trace amounts [of which] bring cause for concern,” and NPE which the Sierra Club has linked to gender deformities amongst aquatic species. Canada and Europe have banned NPE and even Wal-Mart has listed NPE as one of three chemicals they're asking suppliers to phase out. Moreover, 25 states have issued bans on phosphates, which makes up over 30% of most conventional detergents! When I realized these, amongst many other chemicals, were on my clean sheets each night, that great, clean feeling was stolen from me. And if you are like me, and you think you have already washed it out by the end of the laundry cycle, you haven’t. For conventional detergents, like Tide, you have to rinse twice to get all of the detergent out!
Here at Cleancult, we believe in clean.
With Cleancult, you only have to rinse once. With Cleancult, you get the most effective, non toxic cleaning solutions. With Cleancult, you can rest easy knowing that you are truly clean. Our goal: to deliver that “clean-sheets feeling” to people on an everyday basis. Our first product: Laundry Pods!
