Have you ever wanted a way for your portfolio to stand out among the thousands that are on the internet today? Have you ever wanted a unique way to share your newest vacation photographs with everyone? Do you dream of seeing your artwork in a gallery without the thousands of dollars required to rent one? Virtual Galleries provides a quality, modern alternative to flat two dimensional albums/portfolios.
Virtual Galleries came about from working with various artists, who we thought could improve the exposure of their artwork easily by creating a 3D space that highlights their pieces. After seeing how well the first ones turned out, we sought to create several that could fit different needs.
Virtual Galleries is the only way to see how your artwork would look in the real world, without the high fees that would go along with actually printing them. Lighting, shadows, and a real sense of depth is all achievable with our modeled galleries.
Our goal is to fully automate this process, it will be easy for you to use by simply dragging and dropping your images in whichever frames you want, and you can easily swap out entire albums whenever you want.
Sharing the galleries is easy, it is a simple folder that requires zero modification. Send it out to your friends, family, or include it with your portfolio when applying for jobs, a Virtual Gallery will make you stand out.
Once you have your gallery, they run in full screen so you can easily take photos and videos, and share them on other platforms. You have full movement in the 3D space using the W,A,S,and D keys on your keyboard to move and the mouse to look around the entire space.
By pledging to Virtual Galleries, you are becoming a part of our development process. You will be provided with periodic updates as optimization is finished. Once a development team has been secured to fully automate and optimize this product for ease of use, the galleries will be ready to go, but this is not the end. We will continue to develop more galleries, and consult you, our backers, on what galleries we should build next.
We currently have five fully built galleries, below is all of them listed with descriptions as well as the floor plans, so you can pick the one that fits your needs the best.
This gallery is designed for when you want to show off the most pictures. Holding 22 slots for pictures, this will give you the opportunity to show off most of your artwork. The gallery is laid out with a large inside section lit by a large skylight, with a open air garden attached with space for more artwork. If you want to show off an entire album for people to walk through, this is the one for you.
Modern House Gallery:
This gallery is designed for you to show off how your artwork would look in a real setting. If a client wants to see how your art would look above their mantle, this is the gallery for that. While this one can only hold 9 pictures (3 normal, 3 landscape, and 3 portraits), it is designed to resemble how someone would actually have artwork displayed in their home. If you have a client you want to sell your pieces to, this gallery is for you.
Back Alley Gallery:
The Back Alley Gallery is designed to highlight your landscapes as the center of attention. Dark and mysterious, this gallery is nestled behind the hustle and bustle of the city, with the only real lighting on your pictures. Holding 13 full landscape portraits, you have plenty of room to show off your work. If you have breathtaking landscapes that you want to have steal the show in any setting, this is the gallery for you.
Minimalist, contemporary, and large, this gallery is the perfect place to show off all of your portraits. This gallery is able to hold 23 portrait size pictures, allowing you to show off a wide variety of styles and themes. The gallery is set with dividers, so you can organize your portraits into sets, themes, or anything you want. The warehouse is designed for those portfolios that you know only have a brief moment to shine. When major companies receive an artist's portfolio, they look at the first, and last picture in the portfolio. This gallery is small (holding 15 normal size frames), simple, and most importantly, when run, you are placed directly in front of a frame that is front and center, reserved for your best work so they will see it immediately. If you are buying a gallery for your commercial portfolios, this is the one for you.
Virtual Galleries are available for both Windows and Mac, we will provide both file types to you on delivery so you'll have no issues sharing your galleries.

Risks and challenges
Our galleries still need a lot of work under the hood. The base building of the galleries is done, but outside development is still needed for optimization. However, we have an extensive network of professionals in the industry, we will be able to find the right programming team to make this work.
We are passionate about what we do, and funding from Kickstarter will allow us to turn your suggestions and comments into practical updates and upgrades and in time even grow in our gallery listings.
With your backing we will ensure that we will be able to provide support for all the galleries should anything happen, we are prepared to learn and adopt and pull in external resources if needed.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
