They said that Kickstarter backers had priority in a previous update. But that is an obvious lie, since there are 790 backers on Indiegogo who got the same update, this company has no intenion of shipping all the units, much less the batteries that they CLAIM has been delayed. I bet they ship with plugs but not batteries. Yet their previous update\lie, was that the plugs would take a month to souce. These 2 examples are just a sample of how open and honest they are.

How many units do you anticipate to ship on June 2nd?

I cant find anything that says the initial shipment will be 600 units. Can someone point that out for me? I'm not trying to be sarcastic with this, I just cant find that in their communications anywhere.

Also there are 790 backers also on Indiegogo who got the same update, curious as to how they will be split up?

    15. Ryan Cavender il y a 4 jours

Where did they say 600? They would need to ship 21 more pallets like the ones in the video to send 600.

so the real delay might have been the batteries and not the plugs, all along. 'at best' we can expect them to ship 4-5 units w/o batteries on the condition that those backers post here to provide them more time or cover or they will have some fake backers embedded into the campaign post that they received shipment. ANY real backer that does receive a unit, please a video here showing cooling power of an enclosed 10x10 space with a thermometer. I am sure the efficacy of their unit is not 'as advertised' which will provide further proof regarding their deceptive trade practices and violation of federal law and the consumer protection act.

@Nathan you are entitled to your opinion.

However, if you *truly* think that the plugs cant be obtained in less that a month, you are deceiving yourself. Possibly you are a fake backer and troll that will try and shield the creator, whatever the case, i don't really care.

Your comments obviously show that you just want to "cry on the internet". Well, 'cry us a river'. You wont be helping them when you get into it, it will simply show that your trying to shield them for no logical reason.

      i will simply restate facts:

"how absurd, its going to take them a month to get plugs, that is patently absurd."

      In addition:

ZeroBreeze your false comments regarding the campaign [regarding the efficacy] are against Kickstarters stated policies. It's a deceptive trade practice to state that your product does something that it does not. You have engaged in deceptive trade practices. The fact that I told kickstarter that you violated these and they did nothing, now opens them up to law suit, as well.

@Creator Just in case you think you won't or can't get sued http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/kickstarter-fraud-state-sues-failed-projects-creators-n95951 and http://observer.com/2015/09/kickstarter/

@Creator if you can't honor the spirit of kickstarter and provide backers with transparency, concerning the project, next time go to the bank and get a loan.

@Creator trust does not work only *ONE* way, its a TWO way street, as with ANY OTHER RELATIONSHIP.

If zero breeze *expects us to provide more trust*, that is more than what we already provided by giving a complete stranger our funds to *make the project possible*, then they need to give us the real cause for this 1 month delay to source plugs, which is patently abusrd.

Its obviously a SCAM, just like skully. https://www.crowdfundinsider.com/2016/08/88881-skully-collapses-lawsuit-heats-founders-sued/

In addition, their claims regarding efficacy is fraud, since they are making patently false claims to sell their product.

    27. Avatar manquant

      Nathan Hamlett le May 24

Here's a couple of points to consider (from a backer of this product):

1 - I'm not in the business of giving away money, but to get this upset about a Kickstarter project is crazy. The whole idea is you're loaning money to a company/group that has a good idea. Sometimes good ideas don't work out. You have to go into it with the idea that you might not get your product or money back.

2 - You're deluded if you think that every group/company that has a good idea and a Kickstarter campaign is a well-oiled machine with the best business manager. It's usually a group of people that have certain skills to create the product, but not necessarily the best business acumen. There are exceptions, but it's not the norm.

3 - Investing in ANY Kickstarter campaign with the idea that the finished product will arrive for some planned event or season is irresponsible. I'm starting to think that most of you people don't have any idea what a 'start-up' is. Most fail, a few succeed, and those few that succeed almost NEVER do it in the time frame they plan for it.

4 - For those of you who say "Well, I've backed ## Kickstarter campaigns in the past and they've never treated me this way and I've always received my product" - OK, then you'd best be on a plane to Vegas because you've got the best luck in the world.

5 - I don't want to lose my money and neither do you. Kickstarter investments are inherently risky. Deal with it. I know I will. And my version of dealing with it is not to cry on the internet because I didn't get weekly updates from the creators. I'd like to think I'd handle my own Kickstarter campaign differently, but I'm not gonna get shook because I made a bet on an extremely risky proposition.

6 - There's no judge in this country that would certify this as class-action. They've missed the deadline by a 2-3 months so far. Nothing about this screams 'SCAM' or shows any sign yet of potential to defraud the backers. Have you never had something backordered, delayed or stalled? Nintendo can't produce the Switch fast enough. Does that mean they are defrauding people because they continue to advertise it?

7 - If it ends up being a scam, I'll retract everything I've posted here. But I'm still betting my product will eventually be delivered... the same bet I made months ago.

They are just going to ignore backers for a month then come up with some supplier didnt have the plugs in stock and it will be another month or 2 to supply another batch of plugs. This is a SCAM, plain and simple.

    30. Colin Bodell le May 23

Ship them without plugs then. If the the devices were truly ready at the end of April then I'll take mine without a plug. What reason will be dreamed up that prevents this from happening I wonder?

    31. Micheal Cosolito le May 22

Timoth McKenna regarding your last comment I think that zero breeze has enough money to finish the units not only did they raise over a half a million on kick starter but they also raise over a million dollars on Indiegogo, it's just my opinion that if you raise over 1.5 million dollars and that is not enough then they should take a real hard look that there business management and put resources where they need to go, there plenty of business owners that make almost no money to put in their own pocket for least their first year or two. When you become a profitable business that is when you should be able to pay yourselves and decent paycheck but some people rather pay themselves first before they become a profitable company which hurts a growing company which puts a lot of companies out of business before they can even start

how absurd, its going to take them a month to get plugs, that is patently absurd.

ZeroBreeze your false comments regarding the campaign [regarding the efficacy] are against Kickstarters stated policies. It's a deceptive trade practice to state that your product does something that it does not. You have engaged in deceptive or unconscionable trade practices. The fact that I told kickstarter that you violated these and they did nothing, now opens them up to law suit, as well. Hope you enjoy losing your bently. theft of items valued at $10,000 or higher and less than $1,000,000 is a Class C felony. Depending on *if* all claimants want to settle as a group or individuals. I am sure that is not a desirable outcome, so please do the reasonalble thing and issue refunds.

      Something Positive:

      1. I have done some digging and have found that you can either quote section 75 or chargeback (debit cards). I will try and do this, this week but from what I have gathered you tell them that you want to dispute a transaction about an undelivered product. Here is one link about chargeback http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/advice/how-do-i-use-chargeback
      2. You can also call your credit card company and tell them that You want to file a fraud claim for nondelivery of a product. The Credit Card company will then sell that debt to a debt collection agency for recovery and wreck the creators credit.
      3. @Creator Just in case you think you won't or can't get sued http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/kickstarter-fraud-state-sues-failed-projects-creators-n95951 and http://observer.com/2015/09/kickstarter/
      4. Maybe kickstarter will see this and know its going to be effecting their 'bottom line' if they don't squash it' kickstarter I hope you read this, I am a super backer and I have decided to stop backing any\all new projects because there are just *** too many scams cropping up ***. Hope this helps other kickstarter fans and potential backers from saving their hard earned cash. kickstarter doesn't care, since they get their cut. they have not even once ONCE posted a reply to me to address any of my concerns. So, even more to you fellow backers, SAVE your hard earned money and wait till a product comes to market, kickstarter is way too risky. Its like betting your retirement plan on placing a it on 'black 22', i.e. roulette except your odds are better. Hope this helps.
      5. You can open a case against Kickstarter [they received the funds and they are the ones responsible for deceiving backers\investors, despite their claims that they aren't responsible - they *can* be held to account] with the FTC federal trade commission [https://www.ftc.gov/faq/consumer-protection/submit-consumer-complaint-ftc]

      Here's the most important question.

Does Zero Breeze have enough money to fulfill all its Kickstarter promises?

I'm betting no. Why? Because a simple issue like power dropped till this stage is so far fetched.

I would like a general balance sheet accounting. If you can't provide this on demand on a daily basis, then you have no business running a company.

You guys are poor business people. Show your backers that you are for real and hire a qualified business manager.

    39. Avatar manquant

      Dave Barbara le May 21

What plug type have you been using to test with? Why don't you ship to the countries that use the same plug you use for testing. That way we will see that some units actually exist and have been shipped.

    40. Avatar manquant

      Greg Stockton le May 21

So this latest update is an excuse about the plug in for outlets? You would have known about this weeks or months ago. This is your latest foot dragging excuse...come on! Have you actually shipped anything yet? I would like a real update on a new "projected ship date". Not some other lame excuse about something else. A lot of us have been quiet and waited very patiently but some solid feedback and a concrete schedule is in order at this point. So.....what have you got?
