About this project
Gomorraland is a story of power and blood, in which each player takes the role of a boss controlling his gunmen to conquer the most infamous areas of the city.
Dice will be your bullets and cards will represent the grim misdeeds you commit against your enemies. Before the police get to you, or you get whacked by your enemies, be the only one to dominate the streets of a fierce and bloody city.
Create unstable alliances. Break them.
Send your gunmen to get useful weapons and valuable objects or unleashed them against enemy clans. Choose what type of boss you want to be in this frenetic chapter of crime.
Just remember that, despite all the alliances created or broken and all the items and weapons grabbed at the black market, the city, at the showdown, will have only one boss standing.
Each boss represents the player who controls him. If a boss gets killed, the player who controls him is eliminated from the game. The Boss cards are similar to gunman cards.
However, bosses may be the target of an attack only if they don’t have any more gunmen under their control. When a boss has no more gunmen in his clan, he becomes a gunman himself. Accordingly, any Misdeed card or rule which affects a gunman will directly affect him, as well. If a boss who has no more gunmen is forced to work for another player as his gunman (e.g. as an effect of the card “Drink! Let me know if I can trust you!”), that boss can still declare his own actions and win the game if the new boss he’s working for wins the match!
The red Misdeed cards can be used only on a player’s turn while the green ones can be played any time, provided that any triggering condition is satisfied. During his/her turn, a player can play a maximum of two Misdeeds cards (playing a gunman card counts for such a purpose).
During the turn of another player, only one green Misdeeds card can be used against him. The word "clan" of a refers to both a player’s boss and to all the gunmen under his/her control.
The gunmen cards can be played only during your own turn.
When a gunman suffers a number of “Hit!” tokens equal to his Resistance value, he is killed and must be discarded. Each boss can never have more than three gunmen in play at any time. Gunmen are placed one next to another in front of the Boss card. For shorter games, after assigning the two starting gunmen to each player, players shall put back in the box from three up to five gunmen cards, instead of reshuffling all of them in the Misdeed deck.
Cards with the money icon indicate a generic bonus. Those with the green money sack symbol indicate a bonus to the Crime value and those with the orange knife symbol indicate a bonus to the Violence value (in attack, defense, or both of them). The key word above the title of each Black Market card is used to identify the card type. Except for generic items, you can’t equip two cards of the same kind (eg. two firearms, two cold weapons, etc.). If a gunman already equipped with a weapon picks up another card of the same type, he can immediately move it to the gunman on his right or left, or discard it.
The big Location cards represent Drug dealers' squares or important places where bloody fights among clans take place.
Each Location card has unique effects, and it is active when face up. At the beginning of the game, the Locations' deck has is shuffled and put in the middle of the table. Then the top card is revealed and left face up, so that all players can see its effects.
(please note that the Rulebook is still in beta version and it is not final. Rules may still be subject to change, due to new cards and/or add-ons).
We have done everything we can (and certainly will keep on doing this!) to guarantee a timely efficient delivery of the product at the most affordable cost. We have decided to reduce the costs of Gomorraland to meet our backers halfway (from anywhere in the world they decide to support us).
- US, UK & EU = € 7
- Canada and Australia = € 8
- Rest of the world = € 14
We are not simple game editors. We are Dreamers.
We have the crazy, illogical, absurd purpose to make the whole world smile, one day, with one of our games.
- This game is not the result of a simple idea: it comes from a platform of ideas. We want to listen to our backers' opinions to add their clever ideas to ours.
- Intense Replayability: Each boss and gunman is different from each other.
- Your support in reaching SG may help us to give you many new cards, a beautifully illustrated graphic novel, and may help us improving packaging's hardness and appeal.
- With the exception of Italy, this game is not going to distributors. It will then probably be hard to find in a local store.
- You make a difference between a little idea and a dream realized. We need you HERE on Kickstarter because we want to see this game EVERYWHERE in the world.

Risks and challenges
We are a small reality but we know exactly what we do and how to do it. We've already acquired a significant experience in the field by successfully publishing four games in Italy.
We have chosen to produce our games in our home country in order to be free from all the risks connected to:
1) Product quality, and
2) Production and shipment delays.
We are in fact able to give our backers what promised, and to deliver all the items in a timely manner.
Of course, problems connected to any unforeseen circumstances might arise (like in any field) but if that was the case we would promptly reach out and deal with them.
