      I intentionally bought a new computer and made sure its design specs were good enough for Obduction. It's nice to see that it will also run Firmament.

      Anyway, good news about the Mac stretch goal. But let's get the thing funded first.

      I think you're right. It shows contempt for the, in size, third group of backers. Very annoying!

      For those on Macs:

      I have an older mac Pro (2010) and it needed an updated "Metal" graphics card to run certain things. I purchased "MSI Gaming Radeon RX 560 128-bit 4GB GDRR5 DirectX 12 VR Ready CFX Graphics Card (RX 560 AERO ITX 4G OC)" from A. Easy to install and runs perfect!

      Haven't decided yet if I want to use my AlienWare PC or use my PSVR as I already have the VR for it. Guess it will depend on what happens down the road.

      I hope it gets fully funded!!!

      Great news. I'm a Mac user and pledged when I 1st heard about this just because I love this company and the games it produces. Pledged for Obduction as well even though my current Mac doesn't support metal. Someday I'll upgrade and be able to play. Great news to hear about the Mac. With newer Macs you can add another graphics card using thunderbolt and an external graphics chassis.

      This is wonderful news! I don't have a great Windows machine, but I do have a brand new iMac Pro. I backed the project on the first day anyway, hoping that I might be able to run the game in VIrtualBox or something. If we can get a Mac version rolled out along with the first general public release, that would be awesome! I grew up playing all of Cyan's games, and will continue to be a fan for life.

      From the not English language speaking countries, Germany now have the most backers, with The Netherlands on second place! So it is quite strange Dutch is not included as language.
      Ik wil een Nederlandse vertaling! (I want a Dutch translation!)

      @erik Ammerlaan Hmm, I should check the Dutch translation in Obduction. Haven't played that for a while. But still, I'm a bit irritated about the fact that Dutch seems to come under pressure.

      @Freek Kortman, for Obuction Dutch also wasn't included as a language on launch. After launch, Cyan stood open for language contributions and I volunteered and made a Dutch translation which has been officially included in the game. If Cyan will use a separate contribution model for Kickstarter I might be able to contribute a Dutch translation again after launch. We will see!

      I jumped in at the $250 level on day one so I wouldn't have to keep questioning myself and slowly bumping up my pledge. I just said, "f#$% it, you know you're going to end up here anyway so just do it on day one". No Ragrets!!

      Thank you Cyan! That’s the way good devs have to threat they supporters! My experience with Cyan learned me, that they keep their promises and learn from the critic they get from their players.

      Currently at a $30 level (Funds are tight; a LOT of my favorite creators have campaigns this month!), but would definitely be willing to bump to the next level if that were required to get a PS4/PSVR license—seen a $14+ bump on past campaigns for the same thing, to cover the overhead difference between PC distribution & PSN distribution. ...though I do hope to be able to build a new VR/gaming rig around the end of this year, and I recognize (having bought & played through Obduction for PSVR after having backed the campaign & played through it on both Mac & PC) that the PC VR version will look a *lot* better. Still glad to help fund support for more great PSVR games being made, either way!

      This game looks awesome especially since you’re maximizing it for VR! Love roaming around Obduction with my Oculus Rift! I can throw in another $100

      Wow. I can't believe that cyan could support console! I was considering getting an Oculus Rift but now I can use my PSVR system. Score! Maybe I should consider increasing my pledge...

      Well, this is awkward. I’ve been supporting at about my maximum level this whole time without Mac support, just because I love Cyan. Now I have to figure out if I can raise my pledge any further… Good problem to have!

      Now those are good stretch goals. The kind of goals that don't create feature creep, thus they don't muddy up the gameplay. I hope to see those stretch goals are met, even though they would not affect me.

      .... Seriously though, there have been so many kickstarters ruined with stretch goal feature creep. By keeping it limited to ports and language support, you're avoiding that, thus it is a good plan.

      Hooray for Mac if it can happen! I’m also running a late 2013 MacBook Pro and I have no expectations of anything new running on it, so good on ya, push that power! (Heck, Myst did that way back when, finally pushed my parents to get a Mac with a CD-ROM drive).
