As many of you know I've been working at the largest board game store in Toronto for over five years. After having been playing and selling the games I love so much for so long I finally decided to make one myself. I know board games better than the back of my hand and I really wanted to make something unique. People ask me all the time for two player games and after running through the usual lot of a dozen or so the customers either have them already or don't want them. They always tend to be too complicated or too abstract or they don't like them for one reason or another. Trifecta is something to give to those people. I love board games and I want everyone else to be able to enjoy them too. Anyone can play Trifecta. It's quick, it's easy, it's two player, and it's fun. Anyone from the most experienced to the newest gamer can play and thanks to Ashley, it's something that's wonderful to look at too. I hope you all can give Trifecta a try. Even if you already have a large collection of games, Trifecta is something to share with others. Bring the joy of board gaming to those you haven't already and maybe they'll grow to love the more complicated games as well.

I've gone through three artists, two printers, and had to acquire an american bank account for this. If there's an obstacle I've already ran head first into it. I was able to make a small amount of prototypes with a new printing company and they are reliable enough to make more. Unless there is a major tragedy, everything should be good to go.
No it would not. While the colors are a great help in distinguishing between the three types of cards, using colors to do this was a secondary thought in the design. The suits are represented by color and their shape. The blue suit is represented by straight lines and Mr. Trifecta. The red suit is made entirely of curved lines and is represented by Ms. Trifecta. Finally, the purple suit is a combination of these two types of lines and is represented by the characters together. The shapes themselves are more than enough to tell the suits apart. the colors are mainly for aesthetic reasons.
