A huge thank you to all of you, we made it to $250,000 !

You guys are so awesome and we have the foundations of an incredible community.

Over the last few hours, which have really been amazing, we kept watching the page, and reading all your comments. Thank you for your kind words, encouraging each other and pushing us to fund. Without you guys, there would be no Planets³. The love for our game is both very heartwarming and endearing - we can't thank you enough.

      First, I'm so glad it's done! THE game a wanted to see for a long time!

I am extremely excited for it to come out, and evidently, this game is the very first project I have ever backed on Kickstarter (I only wish I could put more money down). I just have a quick question for you guys (or for anyone else who can answer) On the Roadmap section, the team states:
      "The first release, named Planets³: Race to Space, is to be finalized, with all features complete, for the fall of 2015 and will include all the goals up to 500 000$ (with the Planets³ editor). It will take place in the first solar system, with the storyline suspended beyond that..."
      This made a little confused. Will everything that is listed in the $500k stretch goal be released now that you have gotten your initial fund of $250k? Or, what does it mean if you reach other stretch goals, does it mean that the game will just be released sooner since you planned to release everything up to the $500k stretch goal regardless? Can someone just clear this up for me? Thanks"

      Can anyone clarify the situation?

      I went ahead and just pledged $40 in hopes that we reach the Mac threshold of $300k.

      I've been looking at this project for a couple weeks but haven't jumped in because there was no guarantee of Mac.

      I suspect that if the $300k milestone is hit with time to spare, several tens of thousands of dollars from Mac users will suddenly pour in - they, like me, waiting to see if it's worth investing in.

      Congratulations, we made it become real.

      Good luck for the next stage, a german Version would be wonderfull, otherwhise let the community make the translations, noone else can do it better. ;)

      I am super exited about this! I will be hosting a server for this as soon as it is available! We can't wait! I have hosted large scale Minecraft, Starbound, and Space Engineers servers in the past and always wished I could combine them all together. NOW ITS HAPPENING!

      Now that the initial goal is reached you can probably expect much faster pledges of support. A lot of people don't back projects until they're already at their goal for some reason.

      Bravo, ça semblait un peu "tendu" et finalement non, dommage pour les 300k (à priori ça semble compromis) mais le but premier restait, je l'imagine, d'au moins pouvoir concrétiser le projet et confirmer l'engouement des utilisateurs. Vivement l'alpha, bravo ! @a_xel

      Un jeu génial qui s'annonce et auquel je suis fier de contribuer ! Déjà parce que j'aime à soutenir des compatriotes, surtout dans des projets comme celui-ci, et aussi par estime pour votre travail duquel j'attend beaucoup et dont je sais que je ne serais pas déçu. :~)

      I hope one day you'll think about making the Linux (and Mac, for everyone to be happy !) version ; and eventually think about some of those awesome stretch goals when the game will be released :)

      I'm also a mac user! I have windows 7 on my bootcamp so I'll be using that if we don't get the OSX version earlier. Extremely excited :)

      I am so excited. I am a Mac user and would gladly wait a while longer for the version to be released. It is inevitable with this degree of craftsmanship and imagination. Plus once it is released, it is only a matter of time before word of mouth takes over and catapults this game into the mainstream! I mean, Steam.
