Worldly Words of Wisdom

Posted by James Chapman (Creator)
Hey everyone

This is the last update, I promise!

Just to let you know, I’ve got a new book that I’m crowdfunding with the publisher Unbound.

It’s called Worldly Words of Wisdom, and it’s full of all kinds of everyday sayings from around the world, a holiday for your vocabulary!

The success of How to Sneeze in Japanese was all down to you, the supporters, and it’s kept me going in my efforts towards this new book, so I wanted to say thank you.

If you enjoyed the final product and all the different ways the world can look at the same thing, this new book has a similar direction, looking at common sentiments like “it's raining cats and dogs" and "out of the frying pan into the fire"

Along with unique perspectives too, about all kinds of things like beards, dancing and dogs.

It's a hardback super book, about 208 pages long, definitely the biggest thing I've ever worked on, and it's so exciting to get it out in the world. I just wanted to let the original supporters in at the start while early bird copies are available. Oh, and if you'd like a closer look at some parts click here.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch! And thanks again for all the support you’ve given me. How to Sneeze in Japanese and Worldly Words of Wisdom definitely wouldn't have happened without it.

All the best to all of you.

Your new book! Your book is fun to read. Beyond that, your picture gives me a bright feeling. I am looking forward to it.

Oh ok. They both say "from $20" to me as a US backer so I couldn't see the difference. Thanks.

      Hey Scott
No difference at all! I just wanted to make sure the people who got on board early got a bit of a discount as a way of saying thanks for their enthusiasm. So the first 50 are £12, but the standard price will be £15 once they've all been snapped up.

What's the difference between the "early bird hardback" and the "hardback" pledges?

Fabulous, thanks James! Happily backed and looking forward to enjoying both books, as I have your previous titles. ^_^

Hi Howard! It absolutely does! Thanks so so much for the support, you've definitely earned that Superbacker title

Looks great! Definitely backing. Wanted to ask, does The Bonus Book Bundle include the ebooks of both titles as well?

All fixed now, and an extra one added - selling like hot cakes!

Ha! Whoops. Thanks, Chris. That's a sleepy James mistake for all these promo images. I can assure you that's not the case in the book!

Hey James, on that page you linked to, the "too many cooks" image says "too man cooks".
