Teena (sorry for the delayed reply):
Oh Australia. You folks were a tricky bunch. Yes, there were 48 backers from Australia (and 7 from NZ), which is tied with the most frequent destination, right inline with UK (48) and Canada (40). But getting games to AU is tricky! I knew I needed a distribution point from the US (duh) and from the EU (as promised), but would it make financial sense to have another in AU?

Here's the math: shipping from a Sydney distribution center would actually save me about $1300 in cost of shipping from the DC to your doorstep. Unfortunately, it would cost me about $1000 more to get the games to Sydney (instead of all going to the UK). And to actually get them to Sydney, I'd have to become an Australian "importer of record", which has an application process and a $500+ fee (and a ton of hassle to do that). Additionally, setting up shop in the Sydney shipwire requires some extra fees and hoops for storage, which all adds up to nor really making sense to do that, unfortunately.
I did reach out to a couple AU game stores that have done that sort of thing in the past, but none of them got back to me. :(
      But thanks for asking!

I feel like this is something I ask on every kickstarter - What about shipping to Australia? We're almost as big as canada, hard to miss, except in kickstarter updates ;)

I'm in the same boat as Will, Daniel - could you check that I submitted my information please?

Danimal13- unfortunately, CAN shipping is coming from the US. But since I said no extra customs charges, any you see will get refunded (procedure later). But declared value will be replacement (manufactured) cost, as that is typical of most industries.
Will- There was no return confirmation-confirmation, but I checked: you're good.
Ben- YES! You notified me even before my fleet notification email service did :)

Was there an email followup to the confirmation or some other way to verify that I did confirm? I have the email from 9/14, and I believe I confirmed my address, but I'm not positive and I don't see evidence in my emails that I did.
