Next Gen NES Nintendo 8 Bit Video Game Controller
The Retro Fighters NES controller is a next-generation 8-bit gamepad that utilizes modern design and compatible with NES, PC & MAC.
WHAT IS RETRO FIGHTERS?
The Retro Fighters NES controller is the next-generation 8-bit controller that has many unique features and practical designs. It’s the FIRST NES controller that is compatible with both the NES system and PC/MAC via USB. Simply plug & play and you are on your way to playing classic games on either the NES or PC/MAC.
Retro Fighters Next Generation controller will be first controller to be both specifically built for NES & PC/MAC. We wanted to allow all retro gamers to enjoy a next generation controller on a retro platform, whether its on an original classic NES System or on computer (PC or MAC) via emulators.
WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?
The Retro Fighters controller gets rid of the hard plastic shell and replaces it with a rubberized soft coating. The controllers’ next generation design is what you would similarly find in a modern gaming controller. The improved D-Pad puts less stress on your thumbs with soft glossy UV coating and indented design that improves grip and comfort.
There are many games that make button mashing a chore and just simply difficult without turbo buttons, so we added them in and also included the classic B & A buttons. We also included B & A shoulder buttons and analog sticks.
SHOULDER BUTTON & ANALOG STICKS FOR NES?
B & A shoulder buttons and trigger turbo buttons are added to be used in conjunction with analog sticks or d-pad. Majority of games will use the d-pad, but the analog sticks were added for some sports titles and space shooters. From personal experience and from feedback from others there are some sports titles that are better suited for analog sticks.
Side scrollers are better suited using the d-pad. The reason behind the shoulder buttons and analog stick design is to allow the gamer to hold the controller in numerous combinations. For example for space shooters it may be easier to use the analog stick and shoulder / trigger buttons. For a beat em up game, using the classic layout (d-pad/B&A buttons) may be better suited for a game like this.

Risks and challenges
We will utilize only the best factory in Taiwan to build our controller mold to insure that our customers only receive the best quality game pad. We don't expect any delays or challenges, this is not our first time manufacturing product, so we understand the manufacturing process and possible delays in both production, manufacturing, shipping and customs. Although we have never manufactured anything this unique before, I am confident in our years of experience in the video game industry in sales/manufacturing that we have a grasp of any possible delays or challenges and how to overcome them if any were to arise.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
