Wheezy is an electric auxiliary wheel that turns your regular bike into an e-bike. It attaches and detaches in a snap, saving you the money and space an e-bike costs.
1) Wheezy - an electric wheel with a built-in charger.
2) Battery pack.
3) Wheezy adapters for bicycle.
4) Pedal Assistance Sensor (PAS).
** Additional parts will be included depending on the requested Wheezy model.
Turn your good old bike into an awesome e-bike in seconds!
Carry Wheezy easily, like a suitcase, into your office or home.
Charge it anywhere and prevent thefts.
- Exactly the same as a standard e-bike
- When you start pedaling, the Wheezy pedal sensor sends electric pulses to the microcontroller, which powers the motor.
You can also control Wheezy by hand by replacing the pedal sensor with a thumb throttle.
Wheezy is an electric auxiliary all-terrain wheel. It operates on a brushless wheel hub motor that is entirely enclosed, protected from erosion. This means high efficiency, reliability, no noise, no maintenance and a long lifetime.
Wheezy runs on a small lightweight NiMH battery pack used for hybrid vehicles. NiMH is much safer and lasts longer than the lithium (Li-ion) batteries used for standard e-bikes.
It comes with a smart microcontroller, creating for smooth operation and utmost battery efficiency.
Wheezy is encased in a lightweight steel chassis, a frame and running gear, making it much stronger and durable than its aluminum counterparts. Its zinc coating even prevents rusting.
1) Replace the left nut of your rear wheel with the Wheezy adapter.
2) Install pedal sensor.
3) Click Wheezy On/Off.

Tamir used to drive his car to work every morning. When constantly thickening traffic eventually got the best of him, he started riding his bike. Suffice to say, his coworkers didn’t much appreciate his stench after all that exercise.
He thought about investing in an e-bike but it was out of his price range - and he had no extra space for it in his apartment anyway.
So Tamir “set the wheels in motion” and, after a long and thoughtful period of experimentation, he came up with the ultimate solution: WHEEZY.
As an electric auxiliary wheel, Wheezy is detachable, lightweight and compact, allowing for easy transport and theft-prevention.
We have been perfecting Wheezy for the past two years and now we’re ready for mass production. Help us get there. Back Wheezy.
Q: Does Wheezy work with any bicycle?
A: Wheezy can connect to most bicycles.
Q: How much does Wheezy weigh?
A: Wheezy weighs approximately 26lbs (12kg), but no need to carry it around. Its rolling chassis has a handlebar so you can easily pull it with you wherever you go.
Q: How long does it take to connect Wheezy to my bicycle?
A: Installing Wheezy for the first time takes a few minutes. After that, it takes a matter of seconds to connect or disconnect Wheezy each time.
Q: How do I charge Wheezy?
A: The battery charger is built into Wheezy’s frame. Pull its cord out to plug it into the wall for charging. Fold it back into the frame when the charge is complete.
Q: How long does it take to charge Wheezy?
A: It takes approximately 2.4-4 hours to fully charge Wheezy, depending on the model's battery capacity (Wh)
Q: For how many miles does Wheezy’s battery last?
A: You can travel 20-50km (12-31 miles) per charge with Wheezy, depending on the rider's weight, the air pressure of the bicycle tires, riding conditions and the model's battery capacity (Wh).
Q: Does Wheezy work on any surface?
A: Yes. Wheezy operates on any solid surface.
Risks and challenges
We've already completed the design, prototyping and testing phases of the project
We now need to raise funds to place bulk orders for the materials in order to start mass production.
Тhe main components will be produced locally in our workshop, giving us greater control over the whole process and making us less dependent on suppliers and subcontractors.
The rest of the components we need are standard e-bike parts and electronic parts that we've meticulously selected from several suppliers we're already working with. All necessary arrangements have already been made.
These suppliers are now just waiting for our green light. Nonetheless, working with a third party may result in unexpected delays.
Most of our shipping arrangements have also been confirmed and we’ve built a strong customer service and support network for our Kickstarter funders. We’re not leaving anything to chance.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
