Hello Backers,

By the end of today we'll have over 160 orders shipped and just 50 to go! We are on track to fill all Kickstarter orders, even ones originally promised for January, before Christmas.

We've got four printers cranking out parts, and a fifth one will arrive next week just to make sure we hit the dates even if one printer goes down unexpectedly.

It's also great to see customers already posting pictures and videos of their builds from shipments that we just made a week or two ago. Keep posting, we love seeing your projects spring to life!

Vorpal Store Grand Opening This Weekend

The Vorpal Robotics Store will be launching this weekend, just in time for Cyber Monday!  Stay tuned for the official announcement.

This will be your source for replacement parts, new add-ons for Vorpal the Hexapod, and even entirely new projects which we already have in the works. We'll be stocking parts that are perfect for many small robotics projects based on Arduino and similar microcontrollers.  

We'll have a very special store bonus for all of our Kickstarter backers, as another big Thank you for making our company possible.

Making Making Easier

Over the coming weeks we'll be offering convenient, no-soldering-required kits of parts for other popular open source projects on Thingiverse that require electronics. We think there is a huge need for this: many Makers (and schools with 3D printers) would build more of these great projects if it was simple and convenient to get all the parts in one package--no muss no fuss. Also many schools are not set up to handle projects that require soldering, and some beginning Makers also may find that daunting. Let's make it easier to Make.

Our goal: put those 3D printers to use for something more than a vase or a bunny. Build more active 3D projects that include electronics and motors. Put a little more movement in the Maker Movement!
