Hello, beautiful, wonderful (patient!) backers!! Yes, it's true -- at long last, "Lookout, Science" (video #2) has been released -- by USA Today!! USAToday.com chose to post "Lookout, Science" as an exclusive premiere this month! Their exclusive period is now over and I'm free to release it myself, but before I go public, I wanted to give you VIP's a one-day private advance screening :-) so here is the private link to the video on my erinhillharp YouTube channel:
Oh! and while you're there on YouTube, please do "Like" the video and/or comment, and oh! It would be so wonderful if you would subscribe to my erinhillharp youTube channel, too! :-)
I'm currently in the midst of performances for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at Classic Stage Company here in NYC, with Bebe Neuwirth and Christina Ricci. I'm acting in the show, playing both the First Fairy and Robin Starveling, and yes, I play the harp and sing in the show as well! We run through May 20th, and I would like to extend this offer just to my backers: If anyone is interested in purchasing house seats to see the show, let me know (House Seats are the best seats in the house, available only to company members, and in this case are less expensive than if you bought them as the general public). We're a hot ticket and are selling out, so they're going fast.
Midsummer has been all-consuming since February, but in the few spare moments, we've kept working on finishing the audio tracks for "Girl Inventor." We now have half the album finished (audio-wise). And we're continuing to plan and write the stories for the future videos. We're also continuing to fundraise, and I've been accepted by Fractured Atlas, so if you know any newcomers who would like to become backers (I'm still offering the same Kickstarter rewards), feel free to pass on the Fractured Atlas link:
and that's the story, morning glory! It's my pleasure to welcome you all at long last to the wonderful world of "Lookout, Science" :-)
xoxo Erin (The Sci-Fi Harp Girl)
