"The First Thousand Campaign" will be used for direct products costs. An initial investment on $5,000 has already been made. Now we need to make 1,000 bags! Kickstarter-generated funds will cover the cost of ingredients, packaging, and shipping.
Although we have 5 more product lines in the works, we are completely focused on manufacturing and selling our first product line - "The S'mores Collection".

Risks and challenges
Since we are planning to start selling at a local level to business proprietors that we already know well (and who have already tried our product and love it), we feel that our risk is limited only to each production run. Production run #1 - we want to make 1,000 for direct sale. Can we sell the entire batch? Based on feedback from over 200 business owners and random samplers, our first 1,000 bags should sell quickly.
Our strategy is simple - we are "light" and we are "scalable". In the same way that a caterer prepares an order only after it has been made, we too plan to do so. And with a simple, tightly controlled production process, we are "light" enough to do so from start to finish.
What we are not doing is almost as important as what we are doing. No monthly rent to pay, no fixed overhead costs. We only pay for the commercial kitchen time that we use. No big salaries to pay, no nonsense. Our core team is interested in using every resource available to us as efficiently as possible so that we can grow our business organically. Our culture of high consciousness (social responsibility, team harmony, inspired ideas) and earthy aesthetics marks our identity as a group of humans working in common, clearly defined purpose.
Make no mistake, our long term goals are ambitious. Our hope is to provide our snack foods to everyone that wants it. We are a planet of seven billion! That is 7 billion unique personalities that we would eventually like to reach!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
