Music has changed so much just over the decades. When was the last time you opened an album, ripped the shrink wrap excitedly, and read the credits, maybe even the lyrics while intently while listening? MP3's are great, iTunes and Pandora have made headway in art delivery unimaginable. And still, at least to us... something's missing. We believe that the soul of music still lies in the intimate interaction between the artist and the listener, even if they only physically cross paths at a performance.
The current landscape of music consumerism in a basic all digital format (online)is as detrimental to arts in many ways, as much as it is awesome others. We want to get on the road and back to a time when artists toured on their own, and delivered their work to the listener first hand. We believe that his is how a trusted network of enthusiasts and therefor longevity is built. The music experience should be personal to some extent, and we know it can and will be again.
Risks and challenges
As an artist the risks remain the same as they've always been, reception and relevance. Our hope is to continue to create art that remains true to our core beliefs. How that art is received will ultimately determine it's relevance in a business sense. Our hope is to remain diligent in delivering our art LIVE, to any and all that are willing to receive it, and to break from the current digital trend of online marketing and short attention span consumption.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
