OUR FIRST UPDATE! THE COLOR AWESOME THANKS YOU! IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TICKETS AND WHAT TO DO WHEN WE MAKE OUR GOAL...

We are flattered by your generosity, first and foremost.  Most of you are close to us either as friends, or geographically.  Some, we've never met.  Either way, it's been great to see exactly which of you are real fans of our little corner of the web, many who haven't even heard our headliners, Mahogany (yet).

We have also announced day one of the festival, which will feature our new favorite electronic duo, Glitterbang, and a couple of numbers from the fabulous Ade'.  Our performers from the following night, Erik Blood (DJ Cuddleup) and members of Mahogany (Thee Hypeercvbe) will be spinning records along with Jess (FISTFIGHT) and Phil (UpAbove)

THIS IS THE REALLY IMPORTANT PART FOR OUR ATTENDEES...

We are unable to edit the information on the $25 dollar level, but if you backed us at $25 or greater, you will be admitted to BOTH nights of the festival.  That's May 24th + 25th.  Great, right?  Here's the poster:

We are well over half the way there, both in time and funds.

When the project is funded (see that Jedi Mind Trick positivity?), you will receive information on how to collect your rewards.  Depending on the level you donated at, we may need your "snail" mail address to get your rewards in hand.  Keep in mind an alternate address where a package will be delivered safely from theft or the elements.

If you're reading about our project for the first time, thanks for making it this far down the page.  If you've ever had a favorite band, or wanted to share them with a large group of people who are hearing/seeing them for the first time, that's what we're doing here.  From releasing and packaging new music from local bands, to putting on shows like this, The Color Awesome will always do its best to glance at the music of the past, while supporting and writing about its future.

If you've already backed us, can you think of anyone else who might like what we do, and might want to share, literally, a couple of bucks with us?  Any amount will purchase our gratitude, which doesn't sound like much, but if we make this thing, you'll find out exactly how gushing we can be when we appreciate something!
