Traditional backpacks for wheelchair users are not accessible for them because they are located in the back of the wheelchair. And so, they are simply not designed well enough to fit the user's needs and they just don't look good.

Made for manual wheelchair users.The first dynamic backpack that the users can pull from the back side to the front and give them full access to their personal belongings with virtually no effort.

Made for electric wheelchair users. The side bag is designed to be handled with just one hand, which makes it easier to use thanks to a unique inner shell system.

We understand that most of you don't need a wheelchair bag.

To raise enough funds to create an international leading company that gives carrying solutions for all kinds of disabilities.
Our story
My name is Yair, I am an industrial designer and the founder of Handy Bag which is a brand that designs and manufactures bags for wheelchair users. The inspiration for the project came from my lovely parents, my dad is a war veteran and my mom was diagnosed with polio, both of them are using wheelchairs.
We have made about 50 different prototypes and tried them with 40 different users in the last two years in order to design the best solution in the world.
Team
Yaara Cohen- During the day she is a Director of business development at PresenTense Org. At night she is Handy Bag's COO.
Ronen Freiman- During the day he is VP of marketing and business development at Quickcode Ltd. At night he is Handy Bag's CMO.
Esti Zur- During the day she is PPC manager at Gulliver travel. At night she is Handy Bag's strategic PPC manager.
Yair Zur- During the day he is an industrial designer. At night he is Handy Bag's CEO & CPO.
Erez Gotlieb- During the day he is a software developer at Kaltura. At night he is Handy Bag's Developer.

Risques et défis
Manufacturing is definitely not an easy task, the whole concept of it is to depend on someone else, whether it's a factory or a shipping company.
However, we are connected to a few factories, all of which are well known for their quality and delivery standards.
We did not manufacture anything on a large scale yet but we are in touch with a few companies that are working with these factories on a daily basis and so, those factories have proven that they are reliable.
No matter what happens in the future, we will do our best to deliver the best products we can and make sure to update all of our backers every step of the way.
