About this project
Jane Ann, Sam, and Viv are just normal twenty something women doing their best to navigate the treacherous dating world. How they go about is anything but normal. I NEVER chronicles their encounters with three different members of the male sex...and boy do the ladies flip the script! Is it intentional? Guess you will have to be the judge of that.
I NEVER is slated to begin production August 2013 in New Orleans and stars Ashleigh Domangue as 'Jane Ann', Destinee Stewart as 'Viv', and writer/director Ashley Lenz as 'Sam'. It's funny. It's tragic. It's so wrong it can't help but be right.
The team behind I NEVER ultimately hopes to gain enough attention, traction, and funds to make a full-length feature version of the same film. Any and all pledges are greatly appreciated and will help in getting this side-splitting jewel made. Making a quality short film can be expensive! Location fees, permits, equipment rental, craft services, and more add up very quickly. We ask that you consider donating to our short film! Remember: if we do not reach our goal of $2,000 by the end of the 25 day period we get no money. If we happen to be blessed and reach our goal of $2,000, then anything above and beyond that is a bonus and will make it possible to pay our hardworking cast and crew. We humbly ask for your help spreading the word!
Where is all this money going you ask? Check out our budget here:
Ashley Domangue as "Jane Ann"
Ashleigh Domangue grew up in the small, central Texas town of West. Her interest and subsequent love for performing arts were ignited when she joined her high school’s competition dance team. After entering college, this interest motivated Ashleigh to venture into theater arts before ultimately deciding to pursue a degree in Film & Digital Media from Baylor University. Her last semester with Baylor was spent in New York City where her plans to pursue a career in acting were solidified. Since graduation, Ashleigh has joined a weekly on-camera acting workshop and can be seen in a range of projects. She is represented by Moxie Agency.
Destinee Stewart as "Viv"
Destinee Stewart is an actress, writer, and fashion enthusiast. Her love affair with film began at a very young age when black and white films, "Singing in the Rain", and "Curly Top" first captured her heart. After completing a business degree from Texas Tech University, her passion for film finally took center stage. Destinee now takes a weekly on-camera acting workshop under the direction of Daniel Foster and has landed a number of roles in diverse projects. She is represented by Moxie Agency.
Ashley Lenz (Writer/Director and playing the role of "Sam")
Ashley was born and raised in the small Missouri farm town of Lamar. Dubbed ‘The Dreamer’ by her family, Ashley always knew she wanted to live an adventurous life while at the same time helping others. After starting a fashion company right out of college, Ashley worked on the set of the critically acclaimed TV series ‘Friday Night Lights’ and it instantly became apparent that acting was her true calling. Just five years into her journey, Ashley has snagged various lead and supporting roles in independent films throughout the South. Most recently she wrapped a starring role as 'Vanessa Lorne' in the feature film ‘Novella’. She currently lives in New Orleans and is represented by LTA.
Lance left a career as a pro baseball player to pursue an acting career. Just a few short years ago he joined an improv class at the suggestion of a friend and hasn't looked back since! Lance was most recently seen as Agent O'Neil in the blockbuster hit 'Olympus Has Fallen'. He is represented by LTA.
