The largest collection of new Sherlock Holmes stories ever attempted. Bringing together over sixty of the world's leading Sherlock Holmes authors this three book anthology includes only traditional stories set in the original Sherlock Holmes period. Between them these authors have sold millions of books and they come together for a common cause.
The authors are donating the royalties to the restoration of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's former home, Undershaw. The building was in terrible disrepair and was saved from destruction by the Undershaw Preservation Trust (patron Mark Gatiss). Today the building has been bought by Stepping Stones (a school for children with learning difficulties) and is being lovingly restored to its former glory.
Royalties will go to Stepping Stones for specific projects such as the restoration of Sir Arthur's study which will be open for visitors outside term time.
Our our initial goal is £2,000. Our stretch goal, the one that will enable us to get funding restoration straight away, is £10,000 so we want to keep the momentum going all the way through the project.
The stories are broken into three volumes of approximatley twenty stories each, 400 pages each, relating to a period in time.
Book 1 - 1881-1889 Book 2 - 1890-1895 Book 3 - 1896-1929
The books are being produced in traditional hardback with dust jackets and will be released in November. Backers of the project will be getting first edition pre-publication copies ahead of the public release.

Risks and challenges
Editing, proofing and preparation are all huge tasks being undertaken by the project's editor - David Marcum. From getting the stories in on time to formatting them David has a massive job on his hands. He's a very experienced author in his own right so we're confident he can do it on time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
