Thanks to your support you can find now this game on the Steam Store:
We felt there weren’t enough contemporary choices to bring back some of the great nostalgia we felt when playing the original X-COM, Fallout, Shadowrun. So we decided we would create our own, paying homage to some of our favorite titles while innovating and adding some of our own spinto the genre.
For the past year we have primarily focused on designing and delivering an engrossing PC version of Fallen: A2P Protocol.
With your help and support, we will not only accomplish that goal, but through stretch goals we hope to deliver a much larger, much more beautiful, immersive and rich experience, including on other platforms – Mac, Linux, Tablets, and ultimately on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Please take a look at some screenshots from our Pre-Alpha Prototype...
Fallen: A2P Protocol takes place in the near future in a drastically altered world. Seeking to fuel continuous expansion and quench a thirst for Human mastery over their domain, a new source of energy was required.
GENKORP quickly branded ARKANE as a terrorist faction and an enemy of all good and upstanding citizens of the world. In control of such a powerful life-giving (and taking) source of energy, GENKORP develop into a massive private military complex, holding the key to life on earth as we know it.
But very quickly A2P’s dark side manifested itself. Earth’s weather was altered forever, with “natural” disasters ravaging our planet, reshaping it and turning much of the world into what is now simply known as “The Dust”.
Fierce endless fighting persists between GENKORP and ARKANE. Meanwhile, those that have not aligned with either faction are branded as bandits and outlaws. Loyal to neither GENKORP or ARKANE, they fight for their survival, etching a difficult existence in “The Dust”.
Already having invested significantly into the creation of Fallen: A2P Protocol, we seek your support to complete the game with all the features, graphics, gameplay and details expected of a high quality self-published title.
We are committed to a fully collaborative development process, partnering with you to create the most fun to play game, prioritizing those features most important to you.
We are not looking to reinvent the genre, but rather to offer players a great, contemporary take, adding a few unique twists to gameplay and presentation to build on the rich lore of amazing games.
In the process of development we iterate a lot, change priorities along the way, make important decisions, brainstorming meetings, etc.
We will ask you to take part as much as you want in the process of developing the game by providing feedback, getting first early glimpses at features and voting for priorities. Don’t worry; we’ll do the heavy lifting and make sure we stay on track. But if you would like, you are very much invited to help us craft the game you always wanted to play.
Fallen: A2P Protocol gameplay is both strategic and tactical.
Resources are always scarce, so you must use the environment to your advantage. But the environment can change and be your ally or a deadly, indiscriminate enemy. Quick adaptation to unstable weather may be required, as fluctuations affect gameplay, reduce movement, hamper accurate aiming and even cause damage.
Ammo will be limited, so use it wisely if you don´t want to end up throwing rocks and knives at your opponent... unless that´s the way you choose to play.
On the strategic side of the game, you will have to drive and manage your caravan through this devastated world, constantly searching for supplies, upgrade weapons and armor and make other key decisions about how to tackle your next mission.
- Would-be survivors must master strategic planning and employ a wide range of turn-based tactical combat factors, including destructible environments and limited ammunition
- A vast and inhospitable world, complete with hostile weather and vision-impairing day-night cycles, requires careful exploration to recruit allies and gather scarce resources
- Character progression and customization, as well as armor and weapon upgrades, showcase player-focused RPG elements and offer a high replay value
- A dark, dystopian lore provides a rich backstory to create a world in which the player’s actions have lasting impact, with the fate of humanity determined by their personal choices and combat capabilities
We started crafting the game long time ago and wanted to share with you some early inspirationals...
We've put a lot of thought into crafting cool rewards for each backer tier, so please take a look and let us know if you like what you see.
Keep in mind that by adding $10 USD to any tier (starting at $15) you can get an additional digital copy of the game. For example, if you pledge $50 and want two more copies of the game, just throw in an additional $20.
Also, if you support us, please share and spread the word through social media and among your friends and fellow gamers. The more backers we can have, the better the game will turn out for all of us.
We have big plans for making this game be the best it can be.
Since this is to be a collaborative project, we’re unveiling the initial stretch goals. As those are reached, we will involve you in determining which of our planned options you most would like to see, and will make those available.

Risks and challenges
Developing a video game is always challenging. Meeting deadlines in such a creative and iterative process can sometimes be difficult. But we have several years of experience as a studio and as a team, using agile methods to meet our deadlines without losing quality.
We will provide an early access PC build as soon as possible and keep adding features and content as we move forward. Our main goal is to create the best video game possible for our backers and community and for that we need your help and feedback.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
