LAST STRETCH GOAL! If we hit $32,500 - box material gets upgraded to premium linen finish! Let's see if we can get there to make Cauldron better for everyone!
Cauldron is a board game of competitive alchemy for 2 – 5 players. It’s a potent brew of the things we love most in a game – simple but highly strategic game mechanics, lots of variability, some chance, all presented beautiful artwork. We love the folklore around potion brewing, and our passion shows in the little things that make this game so enjoyable. Please help us make it happen!
Choose to play as one of seven aspiring brewers, and battle to become the Grand Infusionist.
Every Grand Infusionist takes a different path to victory. Will you grow your magik or spend it? Will your potions prove powerful enough? Can you slow down your enemies with a well-timed spell?
- Simple yet deep - Cauldron is simple enough for new gamers, yet rich enough for seasoned veterans.
- Highly interactive – Ignore your opponents at your peril. To win, you must watch them, anticipate their moves and thwart their plans.
- Exciting and fun – We have play-tested Cauldron for more than a year to ensure that perfect balance that makes a game, above all else, fun to play every time.
If you enjoy the resource collecting mechanics of Lords of Waterdeep mixed with the wacky take-that of Munchkin - you will love Cauldron.

Love over money.
We sat down to make an amazing game, not to make money. We love games, and this project is a dream come true for us. We just want to share what we’ve worked so hard to create with people who share our hobby. Every effort has been made to keep the price as affordable as possible.
Inclusion and openness. We’re here to make a great game for everyone to enjoy equally. After much discussion, we’ve decided the most-inclusive path is to not offer Kickstarter exclusives or early-bird discounts.
Participation. We’re proud of our game, and are happy to provide free, downloadable versions of the rulebook and the FULL print-and-play version of the game, right now. We’d love to hear your thoughts, and promise to seriously consider all suggestions for improvement. We’re also excited at the prospect of hitting those stretch goals, to allow our backers to make real contributions to the game.
If we’ve made it, you get it. We offer one version of the game, and it includes everything needed for a complete gameplay experience. Any changes unlocked through stretch goals won’t fundamentally change the game. They’ll be either component upgrades we couldn’t otherwise afford, or small additions that we welcome from our backer community.
Ready to brew. We’ve worked hard to bring the game’s graphic design to 100% completion. Every component and game piece is ready to be sent to our printer. The entire graphics package on our end will be ready to go within a month of funding. We hate waiting just as much as you do.
Money-back guarantee. We hope you love Cauldron, but you’re welcome to return the game within 30 days of receiving it, for a full refund. We’re confident in our game, and want you to share that confidence before you offer your valuable support. We would even pay for shipping - that's how certain we are that you will enjoy Cauldron.
