Set in a future, cyberpunk New Jersey, KSW is an action-comedy full of bad jokes, dumb fight scenes, and complex social criticisms
105 backers pledged $12,724 to help bring this project to life. - the KSW Webcomic!!

Posted by Peter Schmidt (Creator)

Hey guys,
It's been a while!

It's gotten a bit chilly since this summer when all a y'all helped me take on this kickstarter, and I think you're all overdo for an update. The comic is coming along nicely.. I'm sitting on a stack of about 90 pages - which puts me around half way through the first book. This is a good and bad thing. It's good because I've got 80 pages, it's bad because there's no way I'm going to make the deadline without dropping the quality significantly. I feel bad about this, and I want to make it up to all of you by sharing the comics progress with my kickstarter bros and anyone else who might be interested.

That's why I've made a KSW WEBCOMIC!!

Right now the webcomic consists of fifteen pages that retell parts of the original minicomic - but don't worry, one look and you'll know that this isn't just rehashing. For now, I'm posting a new comic page every Monday and Friday.

I also want you all to know that all of your names have been posted in the first blog post at in a thank you post. If you want your name changed, removed, or replaced just send me a message but more importantly if you want me to place a link to your website, twitter or whatever next to your name just let me know and I'll be happy to oblige. It's the least I can do for all you beautiful, awesome people.

Let me know if you've got any comments about the site and make sure to share it if you like it!

Quality over speed of delivery, no problem. The webcomic pages are DELICIOUS. Nice work. Have you seen Brandon Graham's new project Multiple Warheads? More excellentacular King City goodness. Right down your periscope. Do you have a periscope? You should get one.

You have nothing but my respect for wanting to keep the quality up. Having to push out the deadline to maintain your standards around quality seems like a small price to pay. With the new pages to the webcomic being posted regularly, I will be able to easily cope. Keep us updated on the progress and can't wait to read the entire thing when it's ready. PS: Love the animated header on the new site!

80-90 pages is a lot of pages, Peter! Keep the faith.
