As Early backers of Fun to 11, I wanted to make sure to let you know that our current Kickstarter, Epic PvP: Fantasy is just 35 hours from ending. It is by far our most successful one, and the stretch goals are ridiculous. We’ve added 120 free cards, tokens, stickers, etc… all wrapped in a custom box that could likely be sold for $25 if it was EMPTY (Jay went nuts).
I do feel a great sense of gratitude to all of you who backed our early games and I want to make sure you don't miss out on this one if it interest you.
I hope all is well with you and thanks again for allowing us to make the games we love.
The entire Fun to 11 team .
We just launched! It's a short campaign at just 19 days, so don't wait too long if you're interested...
Thank you so much for your help and encouragement on this project. It has been a group effort to get it to this stage and with your help spreading the word (and backing of course) we can make Holiday Break a reality!
We're hours away from hitting "go" on this campaign. I think I need to do a tiny bit of work on the audio for the main video. But I wanted to share this link for you all so you know what to expect when we launch the campaign. It's been super fun and we couldn't have gotten this far without 3 excellent rounds of play testing with past backers. Each round helped tremendously, and some of you will see your feedback directly translated into cards and rules.
Here is the link for the campaign. It's not live yet so you can't back it now, but it should be live tomorrow sometime and a few things might change just slightly. We are all going to PAX tomorrow, so we'll probably actually hit the "go live" button from the road - which will be a first for us.
Thanks again all, you really are what makes products like this possible.
Luke and the Fun to 11 Team.
Jay is working on putting the cards together for the KS video, and I thought I'd share this one with you (warning: the image has some odd artifacts because I changed file type, don't worry the final won't have them).
The card is the school mascot - The Flying Polyp. In addition to making me giggle, it also shows one of the new twists in the game. There are a couple of cards in the expansion that have a game effect while they are on the school shelf! This is a pretty big deal as both the student and faculty shelves are expanded from 3 to 4 cards in Holiday Break (more on that later...).
We have found in play testing that this card can have a profound effect on which faculty you buy - you'd like to buy the toughest one you can to go after your opponent as it will gain Aggressive, but you also would rather NOT have this card still on the shelf when someone buys for you, but it is cheap...
More cards coming. If we can get the video done next week, we hope to launch the campaign before we head out for PAX East. If you're going to the show, stop by our booth and say hi - we might even have a play test set of Holiday Break for you to check out.
