"I like this game a lot. It is that perfectly pitched product between traditional card games and 'almost ready to play collectible games - the right way.' My seven-year-old loves it. I mean really loves it. As in, she has played it a dozen times with anyone and everyone she can talk into sitting down playing with her. Well done!"

Fairy Mischief is a super fun game that has been designed to help transition girls from the classic card game War, to something a little more gamery. With the obvious hope of brainwashing...uh...encouraging girls to have a life long love of games that don't need to live inside a glowing rectangle.
Fairy Mischief is designed to grow with kids. There are several ways to play the game included in the box. No one knows your kid better than you, so Susie and Jay designed a game where you can easily add or change rules as your kid masters the game - but the core mechanic and goal stay the same. This makes the game a good fit for a very wide range of ages and allows the game to grow with a child.
Here's a quick tutorial that gives an overview of the basic and advanced Fairy Mischief gameplay. And remember, all the components you are seeing in the video are pre-production, expect the finals to be much better!
Here are two videos that we filmed at PAX East to show more details on a couple of the advanced rules you can add to the game, allowing the game to grow with your kid and teach even more game concepts!
The artist of Fairy Mischief is one of the most famous fairy-themed artists working today - Jasmine Becket-Griffith. We are super happy that she let us use her work in the game. If you want to see some more of her amazing artwork, you can check it out at here and/or check out her Facebook page where you can see a lot of her work in progress. If you're down in Disney World, be sure to check out her work at the POP Gallery.
At every backing level you will receive at least one copy of the game! Each copy comes with 62 colored gems in a deluxe pouch, 2 play mats, rules, and 2 decks of cards.
If we get to $15,016, we will be adding 4 additional cards to the game - the 5+ cards (16 is Willow's number in soccer, so the goal is kid appropriate...)
If we get to $15,900, every box of Fairy Mischief with ship with a FREE 100 piece puzzle inside! More Jasmine Becket-Griffith goodness for all!
Add $25 to any pledge to add one of these awesome Fairy Mischief T-shirts!

Susie and Jay Hernishin are veteran graphic designers, gamers, and proud parents of daughter Willow and son Cooper. Fairy Mischief is their first game design and they are very happy that you are checking it out!
Risks and challenges
Fun to 11 has done 3 projects on Kickstarter so far. All have shipped on-time or early. As a group, we have more than 60 years of game publishing experience. That said, there is always a small chance that things will go all pear shaped (as our British friends would say) - particularly with things that insurance agents call "acts of god" (blizzards, dockworker strikes, fires, random law suits, critical staff getting hit by a bus, etc...).
That said, we have a very high confidence in our ability to fulfill our promises to our backers as we have done in the past.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
