It has become clear that the responsibility of success falls on the foot soldiers.

Adam and Dan became friends during university through playing sport and continued a friendship with love of board games and burritos.
After many conversations about one day creating a board game they decided to have a go at something innovative.
Inspired by working as a doctor, Dan came to Adam with the initial Vaxcards idea. The aim was to create a game that we enjoyed playing, while at the same time it could serve a greater purpose by providing foremost an education and reward system for vaccination.
However, it was crucial for us to create a game worth playing for adults as well. It was key to have good character design, game mechanics and aesthetics that were build to maximize the fun value. and through many hours of discussion and play testing they are very excited to release this innovative game.
Help us build it and join the herd.
During this launch, we are providing backers with the chance to receive the full vaxcards set. In the future, we plan to translate this to many languages and hopefully distribute alongside vaccination programs that need the education and reward for vaccination the most. We also wish to create expansions into other fields of medicine for gamifying education on other topics.
So we are currently building a funding model that will allow us in phase two after our launch to widely distribute core components of the game to focused areas requiring education. That is part of the decision to release the starer deck of our print and play for FREE on our website whilst providing some very bulk size backing tiers, for those out there who want to really kick start our idea.
For now, we are just a couple of board game loving guys who are trying to help solve one piece of a big problem in a fun way and kickstarter provides us with the perfect platform to reach others who are passionate about science, games, education and working towards bigger things.

Risks and challenges
There are always risks in crowd funding but we have really gone to lengths to make sure our product will get to your hands as soon as it can.
We already have much of the game designed and ready for printing. We already have a production team ready to go, just awaiting numbers (they can scale up and have had plenty of kick starter experience). Our distributor is also locked and loaded and is kick starter experienced.
We are aiming to be as direct as possible by not offering complicated reward tiers. We just want to be simple, you back us, you get the playable game as soon as possible.
