Stretch Goal Success!

Posted by Shane Matthew Murphy (Creator)

WE DID IT!  BIRDLAND IN TECHNICOLOR is officially happening!  Sarah and I couldn't be happier or more excited about the opportunity to provide you with an entirely different and beautiful way of experiencing this world that I have created.

Today's Update:

As an added thank you for hitting our stretch goal, in addition to the "Birds of Birdland" Bookmark Set and James O'Barr Variant Cover 11"x17" Print, ALL backers will receive a FULL COLOR DIGITAL PDF PREVIEW of the first 8 PAGES of BIRDLAND #1, colored by Sarah Rene Straub.

Should we hit $8000:

ALL backers will receive the FULL COLOR 24 PAGE DIGITAL PDF of BIRDLAND #1, colored by Sarah Rene Straub.

Should we hit $9,000:

All backers over $10 will receive the FULL COLOR 24 PAGE PHYSICAL BIRDLAND #1, colored by Sarah Rene Straub.

Please keep in mind that Sarah has not yet begun the process of coloring the finished pages and because of other obligations will probably not be able to do so for another month.  It is of paramount importance to me that we deliver the best version of this book that we can, and for this reason there is no delivery date for receiving the full color version of the book.  Working at this level of detail is a very time consuming process and the last thing I want to do is rush Sarah in any way.  We think a reasonable estimate is 8-12 months from the start date, but we promise to keep you all updated on the progress as it is happening. :)

Thank you all SO MUCH!  We are very, very excited.

Have a great weekend!

That is wonderful news! Personally, I won't mind waiting for a good thing either. It just makes the reward sweeter. :)

And now I'm cheering for $9000!
