Nearing End of Day 2!

Hey there everyone, i just wanted to take a minute and give a big thanks to those who have backed this project and those that have helped by sharing links and liking it on Facebook.  As i write this, we are right at $500 which may seem like a ways off from our goal of $30,000 but from small beginnings come great things.  The most important thing that people can do is SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE.  I am confident that we can meet our goal especially since there will be some awesome things happening in the next few weeks!

I have spoken with a lot of people over the past few days in preparation for Kuha'o's arrival here in Utah.  He will be visiting during the month of July with his grandparents and that's when we will record his CD.  I am so excited to have him close by so that we can upload videos daily to his YouTube Channel and create more hype about the project.  Kuha'o is so excited to make this trip, and all of us who have had the privilege of hearing him play are counting down the days until he gets here!  It is truly a touching experience to hear him perform, and there will be performances in Utah where people can have that opportunity.

I don't want to give too many details at the moment since this is breaking news, but it looks like Kuha'o is going to have the opportunity to open up a concert for Landau Eugene Murphy Jr on July 21st in Ogden Utah!!  When it is set in stone, i will post it on here. For those that don't know who Landau is, he was the winner of the sixth season of America's Got Talent!  I really can't believe it, things like this keep on developing and the excitement grows daily.  Check back and i'll give more details about that night and other places Kuha'o will be performing.  Check out Landau on YouTube, he has some amazing stuff!

Once again, thanks for those that have backed our project.  Whether or not a project is successful really depends a whole lot on the networking involved with it.  Please reach out and spread the word.  If every backer were to get just one other person to back our project, it would spread fast.  Get excited and let's recruit more to our little army of supporters!

Another big thanks to everyone!  And if you have backed this project leave a comment for others to read so we can each feed off one anther's excitement.  Looking forward to day 3!

Andy

As a speech-language pathologist in the Waimea area for almost 30 years now, I was so touched by Kuha'o's story! My mom, a music teacher, failed in her attempts to pass on her inherited musical ability, mso when I see Kuha'o spreading his aloha in such a masterful way (and dang--in only TWO years?!), this truly his makana to the world! Why wouldn't everyone support that? Chicken skin! Mahalo nui e Andy for finding this shining star and leading him to a brighter future!
