There’s not a lot we can tell you about what we are making and we realize how unusual that sounds. Why fundraise for a short film shrouded in so much mystery?
We promise, we have reasons… very good ones, actually.
Rest assured: every dollar raised through this campaign will find its way to funding this film. The more funds we raise will allow us to increase the production value of this film, hire highly skilled crew, cast key talent, and manufacture unique props and costumes. Your support directly impacts the scale of this production.

Some of our reward highlights:
Cryptogram: this post card will arrive in the mail one month earlier than any of our other announcements. If you can decode the Cryptogram... you will know what property we are rebooting [Reward Level: "First to Know"].
Mini Mystery Box: your own mystery box with an imprinted question mark. Inside the box lies clues and exclusive merchandise that will give you further information as to what property we are rebooting. The items will be limited and exclusive to the keeper of the mystery box [Reward Level: "Your Own Mystery Box"].
Mystery T-Shirt: this design is based off the JJ Abram's quote "Mystery is the Catalyst to the imagination". The text from his quote makes up a question mark. The shirt is available in all sizes and a survey will be sent out to all backers to verify their desired size [Reward Level: "Front Row Seats" ].
Mystery Pin: this pin goes perfectly on a sweatshirt or backpack. It's a nostaglia inspired piece of swag that shows you know the answer to what lies within the mystery box [Reward Level: "Front Row Seats"].
Mystery Sweatshirt: this black hoodie is designed just for crew members of our production (and that can include you!). The sweat shirt is available in all sizes and a survey will be sent out to all backers to verify their desired size [Reward Level: "Riddle Me This" ].
Vinyl Sticker: this sticker showcases both the Mystery Box and JJ Abram's quote "Mystery is the Catalyst to the Imagination". The sticker is designed with a grunge aesthetic and comes in 2" x 2" [Reward Level: "First To Know"].

Our updates are exclusive to our Kickstarter Backers only.
We have a great team of experienced producers who are prepared to take on any and all challenges that come our way. The success of this campaign will directly affect how ambitious our short film will be. Our estimated goal to enter physical production October 2016. Our film requires three days of production and we will need to shoot days back to back. There are many factors that can affect production: weather, the cast, the crew, equipment rentals, insurance, scheduling, expensive gear and cameras… any of these elements could cause a delay of production.
Though we are currently seeking the best actors possible, we have not cast yet, and want to find the ideal talent to play (possibly reprise) their roles. If the actors we want are not available at the same time, we may have to shift production to accommodate them.
And though there are many risk factors, we are an experienced team who are determined to bring this short film to reality. We are prepared to be flexible and crafty with our budget in order to do so.
We take a lot of pride in the quality control of our projects and want to afford our visual effects team the timeline they need to create the best film possible. Editing and finishing is a lengthy process as well, but our team has a history of close collaboration and working together under pressure and stressful deadlines. We are confident that we can rise above this challenge.
Additional legal information:
-- If your reward is a set visit, you must be over 18 or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (who will count as your plus one).
-- For any travel-required rewards, you will be responsible for your own flights, hotel and ground transportation.
-- Set visit dates and locations may be subject to change due to unforeseen production variables (see the risks & challenges section for more explanation).
Rewards Shipping Calendar:
As this campaign is all about keeping secrets, our physical and digital awards each have designated release dates (as to what information we can release and most importantly: when). We only will be able to expose the property we are basing our film off once we have entered physical production. As there are many factors that could effect the start date of production, the reveal date(s) need to be flexible as well.
