Ever tried coloring in a coloring book with something other than crayons or pencils? Sucks, right? Pen tears, marker bleeds, paint warps, the paper is super crappy. And I'm all about paper. I'm a letterpress printer and bookbinder, and I want to bring you a better coloring book.
Botanical Inklings is about giving you a better, more artistic experience, and leaving you with frame-worthy art.
I've nurture a life-long love of plants, and my recent obsession with macrophotography has really ramped it up. My drawings are directly inspired by the pictures I've taken.
I chose to include words in my coloring pages that are filled with unspoken stories.
Of course, if you love what I'm doing but aren't ready to commit to the coloring book, you can claim one of the smaller rewards (like my letterpress printed chipboard alphabet stickers) and you'll be able to stay in the loop with how the project's going.
Thank you, you lovely, lovely person. You're one in a million!
Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge in this project is to have all of the coloring books printed, bound, and shipped in time for Christmas--that's why I'm limiting quantities. If all of the rewards are claimed (yay!), I'll add more, but with an estimated delivery date in January.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
