So the guy who can't deliver on his Kickstarters has started a company showing people how to Kickstart. How messed up is that?

So his Facebook page has disappeared. That's never a good sign.

More crowdfunded comic book publishers are joining in! Check out what ex-backers of canceled Bleeding Ink projects can pick up for free!

So did you get burned by the fall of Bleeding Ink Productions? Well Martin Dunn of Con Artist Entertainmentwants to make it up to you! He wants to give everyone who backed one of Bleeding Ink's cancelled projects a FREE PDF of his comic book Joshua Black (successfully funded through Kickstarter).

Joshua Black is a dark comedy/fantasy series that follows a reluctant teenage deity, who inherits the throne of Heaven. Just e-mail Martin at, let him know which project you contributed to and he'll get the comic out to you ASAP!

I understand problems arise that can be unforeseen. If you're unable to come through with the commitment could you issue refunds? Or if this delayed even a large portion of time could you provide some updates? Thanks.

    6. Kitt on June 17, 2013

    7. Kitt on February 12, 2013

    8. Kitt on February 10, 2013

Sent a message to Bleeding Ink via Facebook and this is their reply, "Hi Kitt. I am sorry for the lag time. I am going to write up an explanation and send it to all of the backers by tomorrow. Thank you for the support and I'm very sorry for the lateness of War Zone."

    9. Kitt on February 10, 2013

First time on Kick Starter, your project really caught my eye. Congratulations on getting funded.

    22. Grigoris Douros on June 27, 2012

Art is fantastic. Looking forward to this.

    23. royblumenthal on June 26, 2012

If each of the current 58 backers add $10 to our pledges, we'll be just $200 shy of the target. If were not significantly close with 24 hours to go, that's what I'm gonna do. I would really like this KickStart to happen! I wanna read this comic, dammit!

    24. Bleeding Ink Productions 9-time creator on June 22, 2012

Thanks Roy. I'm going to relay that to my desktop publisher. :-)

    25. royblumenthal on June 22, 2012

Just a note on the 'Bleeding Ink Productions' logo...

In your shoes, I'd hand-alter your 'e' and your 'n' so that there's no pattern repetition. (The font has to maintain the illusion of being 'by hand'.)

To me, these tiny details make the difference between okay design and excellent design.

      All the best.

      Blue skies

Laura. One day I'm going to do another road trip to Portland. When that happens I'm going to come to Seattle just to give you comics and a hug. Thank you so much for all your support. :-)

    28. laura on June 21, 2012

i am really excited for you jesse!! i pledged, and will be happy to receive my hard copies of war zone- but i will try to pledge again just to help out, i totally support bad-ass art! just promise that you will look into touring with comicon, and make it to seattle to autograph my hard copies ;)

    29. Bleeding Ink Productions 9-time creator on June 21, 2012

Thanks for the kind words guys. I think there are 2 reasons for the back of backing for these comics. 1 is the subject matter. I'm sure that turns a lot of people off. And 2 is that I just don't have a very big fan base. :-/

Please tell your friends about it and help me promote anyway you can. I posted a link on kickstarter where you can download a PDF of the first 14 pages for free. Thanks for the support.

Why aren't there more backers? This comic is bad ass! Great work, looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Having backed Sensory Distortion I was lucky enough to read the first pdf issue of War Zone. It's amazing! The art is just as frantic as Sensory Distortion but it seems a bit more focused. I really enjoyed the first issue and can't wait to read the rest! Spread the word people, great comics here!
